Yea, I'm all too familiar with this type of game though. We face a struggling team and let them blow us out. Writing is on the wall. Cassel/Weeden gonna embarrass the sh*t out of us.

We were only down 24-14 when Mariota got hurt his beastly rushing TD. He gets hurt and we get shutout 33-0 from then on.

Side note... Y'all have no idea how pissed I am the Texans have Watson. I was pissed when they traded up for him... I also said before the draft if I were the Browns I would take Watson #1. Two years in a row they had a chance at a franchise QB and they blew it as always.

Watching us get dismantled by a new division rival who never should've made it to #12 is not fun.

So thanks again Browns... and Jets! And whoever else needed a QB and passed! Ugh!

All the Texans have been missing is a QB. They're gonna be a damn good team now.

Watson should come back down to Earth this week against KC. He can't always have games like last week. But yeah, he does look really good and is gonna be a problem for the AFC South going forward.

Talent wise, we should've signed Kaep in a heartbeat.

But I'm sorry... that dude is a nutcase and a circus waiting to happen. He's been brainwashed by his girlfriend. They don't even know what they're protesting and they donated to an organization that supports a cop killer. So I'm not in the business of signing a guy who loves murderers.

Would Belichick and the Pats ever consider signing him? Even if the position was a need? No... because they're winners and don't want toxicity. That's how the Titans are approaching things now.

I agree. The Chiefs have an actual NFL defense. I, of course, hope he has a terrible game and the Texans get destroyed. Would be awful for us if he goes on to beat what appears to be the best team in the league right now.

Either way, he's going to tear our division apart.

As a Niner fan who watched Kaep closely, he only really flourished under Harbaugh. Back then the defense was good enough to keep games close, the o line was dependable and there was a strong rushing game. While he is better than a lot of QB's who are on teams now, he is, at best, mediocre in the grand scheme of things. If he was elite like Brady or Rodgers he would be signed and owners and fans would tolerate his protest because winning trumps distractions.
I do think his heart is in the right place in regards to his protest but he has made a lot of real immature missteps along the way - the cop/pig socks, the Castro comments, his gf's twitter postings, etc.
What is so telling of the league in general in all this is how hypocritical and vain they are in their "supportive" kneeling, arms locked, etc. demonstrations the past couple weeks. If the owners were principled someone would sign him. If the players meant it they would hold some kind of strike or demonstration until he was signed but none of them want to go the extra mile and rock the boat and upset fans or advertisers too much. Our society as a whole has a very short attention span and has pretty much moved on from the whole story in the last few weeks. The only reason it came back up is because someone brought it up out of the blue seemingly and the only reason the league started their demonstrations was in defiance to that person.
Personally I don't care whether someone kneels, stands, sits, etc. I am just so tired of the wall to wall coverage on it. Thankfully it seems to be dying down but unfortunately its because something much more serious and tragic is the new story du jour.

That's the thing.. he had solid protection and a pretty good defense. He himself is not that great. His 'talent' does not warrant him starter-status. And he's WAY too much of a liability for a team to sign for a back-up QB. And his whole reason for protesting, I'm sorry, is stupid. Yeah there is some police brutality, but no where near the levels of what he and the media are making out to be, nor is it 'systematic'.

Woah, slow down... The Browns did it right this year. Defense first, in which Garrett (yet to play) should have all the tangibles of being a star player for a long, long time. Peppers has already been a great addition. I do not think Cleveland should have ever drafted a QB in the 1st or 2nd rounds. Going into the season, they had Kessler, Hogan, and Osweiler. Doable QB's who can bridge with a good defense should win a few games. Watson has looked good - yes, but it way to early to say this will remain. Hell, I thought he'd be a bust and already he's making me doubt my assumption of him. There's a lot of good QBs in the league that were not drafted in the first two rounds, and I think Kizer will be one of them.

Valid point. KC's defense is a much better test then some of the teams he has recently faced.

Talent-wise Kaep should have a job, there are starters that are worse than him. But I totally understand teams not wanting the distraction or potential alienation of part of the fanbase. I don't think he'll ever play in the NFL again.

I don't think I have ever thought cam was a thug. Terrible fashion since yes and definitely immature but never a thug. He does have excellent God given talent that I can't question but his passion and drive sometimes seem gone. I think he said something stupid but in no way is Cam a bad guy.
