If I just read what Cam said in print I wouldn't have thought much of it however seeing how dismissive and patronizing he comes off in the video made it worse. Then there were reports that when he spoke to her after he didn't think what he said was a big deal. If this were a one time thing I would just chalk it up to him saying something dumb but couple this to his little passive aggressive tantrum after they lost the SB and I think he's just immature. When you are a star player in the NFL you have to know what is ok to say and what isn't. I expect a nice canned, non-personal, forced apology from him, written by the team or his agent, some kind of donation to some women's group, etc. and he'll consider the matter closed. People will forget by next week and then the team will just hope he doesn't say anything dumb again.

So someone dug a bit into the background of the chick that was on the receiving end of Cam's comments and as it turns out, she was making racist remarks on Twitter a few years back. Hasn't said a word since it was dredged up.

That’s how it works people who love Cam have come to fight back. It’s just an ugly situation and should have been resolved yesterday. It was a stupid comment but with everything going on this shouldn’t have been as big as it is. I mean if woman said it’s funny to hear a man talk about cheerleading we wouldn’t even second thought it. An apology for Cam would make this thing go away I’m sure he has a pr team who can spin it.
