When will this stop?
I wouldn't generalize all professional sports owners in one group. But I don't understand why an owner would have a team, with racist views (like the Clippers' Sterling). Sell the team instead of making the easy money.

I don't agree with Trump's use of Twitter and his focus on these minor issues when there are way bigger issues happening. Don't understand how he is allowed access and why Twitter themselves can't stop him.

Owners don't really care. It's all profitable, even the Browns. They don't intend to sell the teams so value isn't a concern.

He won't last three years. At some point he'll be impeached. Still, tough, I know Clinton wouldn't be in the NFL's business, but overall would she have been better? No..

I remember that. That's definitely a major role in this.

Nfl said no suspension coming.
Doesn't matter how long it is. He grabbed the throat and then pushed. Suh is way bigger and stronger than Mallett, don't mak the bullshit excuse you were defending yourself. Suh is the dirstiest player in the game and everyone knows that.

Oh I know. The whole Cincinnati team, minus a few select players, needs imploded and relocated.

The 6th for Dareus becomes a 5th if he remains on the 53 man roster through the end of the regular season and Jacksonville makes the playoffs.

Jacksonville is pretty much a lock so I think you're getting a 5th. Can't remember the last time the AFC South (Indy, whut) had a chance to send 3 teams to the play-offs. Houston, Tennessee and Jacksonville all in the hunt.

Dareus is infuriating because if he wants to, he has All Pro talent. Work ethic has been a major issue.

More likely he'll die of natural causes within the next year or two. He's 71 years old, very obese, has to have sky high blood pressure, suffers from apparent undiagnosed personality disorders, probably has early onset dementia and his personal doctor is a quack. Doesn't take an actuary to determine his life expectancy is horrible.

Below is the racial makeup of ownership versus players in pro sports. Granted this is data from 2013 but I'm fairly certain these leagues are no more diverse in terms of ownership than they were 4 years ago. There is a massive disconnect between pro athletes, who are largely minorities and ownership who are almost 100% white.

It should be no surprise that the one league you really don't see any real protests in is the NHL. That's because the NHL is something like 95% white.

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features...e-nfl-and-mlb/

NBA:
Owners are 98% white
Players are 81% non-white

NFL:
Owners are 97% white
Players are 70% non-white

MLB:
Owners are 98% white
Players are 39% non-white

Can we stop talking about politics & keep the discussion centered more on the game of football?

I don’t like the dolphins and I’m fine with it. It’s a split second and it’s more like hey little man don’t get in my face. If JJ watt did that no one would be saying anything it’s a non story. Not to mention Ryan Mallett is huge he is not RG3 or smaller he is a big dude.

Deshaun Watson will be first rookie QB to win the Superbowl. You heard it here first.

If that was Tommy Sparklepony, you'd be having a coronary from throwing bricks at your T.V. while crying that the NFL is not fair.

Would need a better running game than he has and a defense that can actually stop somebody first.

I think no one likes when a qb is hit but that was nothing. I don’t worry about the 4x Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady at all. Unlike when the ZEROx super mvp Ben rapistberger is round a young lady. That is real fear!

Whoa now, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Deshaun Watson is looking like a star but he still needs a lot of help to get the Texans to championship contender. They're a borderline playoff team at best right now.

1. Watt has NO history of being cheap and dirty. Suh's whole career is entirely at the other end.

2. Mallett might be "big" as a QB, but he's no threat to Suh.

Give me a break.

Yeah and mallet didn't leave his feet, he didn't fall down and he wasn't in any pain.

And mallet is 6'6 and 250 pounds! That's bigger than Cam, Kiko and Patrick Willis.

He weighs more than Vic Beasley and the same as the reigning DPOY Khalil Mack I'm sure Mallett will be fine from a push.

It's pretty amazing how quickly Beane and McDermott have transformed our roster. There are only 9 players currently on our roster that were here last season.
