I know green is going down because that was nasty it was pure hate and nothing modern NFL audience are used too.

But Evans was defending his QB it was Watson who put him in the situation and while it's still bad it just didn't seem worthy of a suspension. Big fine sure for him and one for Watson.

Winston wasn't even playing. Instead of arguing maybe he should read a playbook for once and learn now to throw interceptions? The guy was walking away from Winston. The guy barely pushed Winston, AFTER Winston poked his head. Evans was chicken-shit and hit from the back. That calls for suspension.

If they cannot reach a deal the transition tag alone is 28.5 million. No matter what Washington is screwed here.

July 15 is deadline for teams and players who signed franchise tenders to reach an agreement on a long-term contract, so Cousins’ representatives and Washington have a lot of time to negotiate.

If Washington and Cousins can’t reach a deal by that date, they could technically tag him a third time in 2018. However, that would cost the team upwards of $34 million in fully guaranteed money for just one season.

The Eagles this year are the Cowboys from last year. Gaudy record, but only one win against a remotely decent team, because beyond that one team they've played a bunch of teams where calling them mediocre is being generous.

I think I'd lean towards the Eagles being better than the Cowboys, but I wouldn't definitely say so. The good news is they play each other twice.

Of course everything can be spun. I could add that Philly is blowing out those bad teams. Even further I can say they are blowing out those teams with key players gone, while Dallas has been pretty healthy, nearly 100% healthy on offense.
Tough to figure out Philly, this season. Vegas took a beating on the Philly/Denver game yesterday.

Haven't been posting in here much this season but holy cow, how about the Rams this season? I've waited so long for this. Sean McVay is the man. Should be a lock for coach of the year at this point.

I love my Eagles but you have a point, the comparison to last year's Cowboys has occurred to me. We're benefitting from being #4 last year, so we get the bottom of the barrel in terms of schedule. We've got tough matchups ahead -- Dallas twice, Seattle, Rams -- but the fact remains that we're not just scraping by in the games we've played so far. We're winning decisively, which has to mean something. I'm not gonna look too far ahead like everyone else and jinx things; we gotta take things one week at a time. But given the landscape of the NFC this season, which rarely ever happens, THIS is the year for the Eagles to capitalize and actually make something happen. Yeah we're a relatively young squad and we can continue to grow, but it seems like things are falling in our favor this year, and it's hard to imagine that it'd happen again anytime soon.

I do worry about going up against New Orleans in the playoffs though. We play Dallas and Seattle in the regular season, but NO would be a totally new challenge and they look really good so far this season (plus they have a QB and coach with playoff/Super Bowl experience). We'll see what happens. Just gotta stay healthy and stay positive. Go Birds!

This. The Jaguars have built up a great defense and running game. Their offensive line could use an upgrade but the one thing holding them back is Blake Bortles. He sucks. One of the worst starting QB's in the NFL. Cousins would take them to the next level.
