I know the Ravens tossed aside Dilfer for Grbac and that turned out to be a mistake. Who else was there?

The Advocate's Nick Underhill reports the final year of Mark Ingram's deal will void if he is named a first-team All-Pro this season, making him a free agent.
It is an interesting clause which suddenly seems attainable with Ingram averaging 121 yards from scrimmage over the last six games. As of right now, he ranks fourth in rushing yards, yards from scrimmage, and total touchdowns, and he should climb each of those lists if he keeps up his current pace. If he becomes a free agent, Ingram would be near the top of an interesting class which could potentially include Le'Veon Bell, Carlos Hyde, Jerick McKinnon, Isaiah Crowell, and several other interesting names.

Should've traded him when they had a chance, probably could've gotten a 4th-7th round pick for him. Oh well, good for him, imagine he'll be at least a good back-up wherever he pops up. Lot of RB injuries this year.

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Chiefs won't consider benching Alex Smith for first-round rookie Patrick Mahomes this season.
Mahomes has impressed in practice while Smith has been intercepted three times over his last two games including twice in last week's loss to the Giants. Though the Chiefs feel a "strong sense" that Mahomes will develop into a franchise quarterback, the only way Smith could lose his job this year is if he gets hurt. Despite his recent slump, Smith still ranks second in the league in both quarterback rating (107.6) and completion percentage (69.4). He should bounce back Sunday against a Bills team that has allowed a combined 101 points over the last two games.

Bell is gonna be gone next year. They already offered him 12 million a year and he turned it down. Plus next year his franchise tag will be almost 15 million.

They have no money. I think they are 11 million over so they have to cut 20 million plus just to be able to sign rookies and cut more to sign bell. I think it’s gonna be impossible.
