I agree with kidkash. I don't see anyone else in the AFC challenging the Pats. I do like the Steelers but they're not as good as their record indicates.

Marvin Lewis must have some kind of dirt on the Bengals owner. Nothing else explains how he has kept his job this long.

Not saying Burfict deserved what happened but would say that it was a bit of karma for all of his years of dishing out those kinds of hits, dirty plays.

He's appealing it but from what I can understand, if he hadn't stood over Burfict after cracking him like that, he probably wouldn't have been suspended.

Eli Manning will be the Giants' starting quarterback for Week 14 against the Cowboys.

What a long, strange 2017 it's been. Manning had his streak of 210 consecutive starts snapped in Week 13 so Geno Smith could generate 212 yards against the Raiders' nonexistent defense in a loss. If the G-Men were going to go to the trouble of benching their shell-of-his-former-self franchise quarterback, it at least should have been for third-rounder Davis Webb. As it is, Manning now seems likely to finish out the year under center before heading elsewhere in 2018. He will be a bottom-barrel QB2 against the Cowboys.

Bummer Philly lost to Seattle, but I’m a little relieved they got that stinker of a game(hopefully) out of their system. Plus Wilson is just with Wentz and Brady in the MVP conversation. Dude was a one man show Sunday night.
Now if Philly can regroup and get a win against the Rams, that would pretty much lock up, at least, the #2 seed. As the remaining three games are very winnable.
I will again, point out the fumble through the end zone touchback rule is, hands down, the dumbest rule in all of Professional sports! It’s archaic and needs to be changed.

The Seahawks would have just jumped on it they were right there. This one wasn’t as bad as the others but since it benefits the other team I would beat you won’t get enough owners to over turn it.

I would have been more pissed about that forward lateral. Haha

With all the HD tv cameras they have these days, there’s really no reason for this rule.
I can only hope it happened enough this season to get the owners to change it. Thankfully this is MLB, which they wouldn’t address it until another 84 years.

Expected a fine for Juju, suspension is a bit much. But I get that the taunting probably tipped it towards a suspension. Either way I'm not gonna shed any tears for Burfict. Yeah the block was illegal but against him, I couldn't care less.

Gronk's appeal was denied, he's suspended for Monday's game at Miami.

So now the Patriots will win by 20 points instead of 30.

Doesn’t sound like that from there official statement. They didn’t mention him moving his legs at all. Since everyone is worried you would think they would say this.

In a statement, Steelers GM Kevin Colbert said Ryan Shazier (back) does not need surgery and "continues to improve."

Shazier reportedly suffered a spinal contusion on Monday night against the Bengals. It is good news considering how bad things looked on the field, and Shazier has reportedly regained some movement in his legs. Colbert said they are hopeful Shazier will be able to return to Pittsburgh on Tuesday

Paging Dr. Cutler. Paging Dr. Jay Cutler. You're needed in surgery Monday night. The Cheatriots are scheduled for dissection.
