That is a silly question for you to ask me dont'cha think? Everyone here knows I am a Dallas fan...I honestly have no ill will torwards Philly unless we are playing them. I'm just happy that the G-men & the Redskinz are out as I despise them. Either Philly or 'Sota is ok with me.

He just had a bad position/rookie moment at the worst possible time. Safeties have to know you can't go for the ball if there's no one else behind you.

Oh on a side note, the Titans are extending Mularkey!

This organization just proved that we have no hope as long as the Adams family is running the show. And this confirms Marcus Mariota’s career and all his potential will be ruined by this garbage team.

Mariota should sign somewhere when he hits free agency. I’d probably pull for whatever team that is. He clearly has something special, and we have decided to flush it down the toilet.

That's actually what I kinda think of Dak Prescott too unless Jerry makes him an offer Dak can't refuse.

I saw this awhile ago. Projected Vegas point spreads for the possible Super Bowl matchups.

Minnesota (-1) vs. New England
Minnesota (-6) vs. Jacksonville
Jacksonville (-3) vs. Philadelphia
New England (-7.5) vs. Philadelphia

Basically they have it Vikings > Patriots > Jaguars > Eagles

Needless to say there's no way that Vikings-Pats line would hold. Patriots would probably end up favored by at least a FG or more real fast. Seems like this line is largely because the Vikings would be at home. Reality is the crowd would not be anything like a usual home game. Super Bowls are dominated by non-NFL fans who can afford the tickets.

Be nice if that could end in a tie. Picks for next week before I hit the sack.

New England over Jacksonville, would love an upset
Minnesota over Philly

Minnesota would be the "home" team and probably 10% or less of the crowd would be people like me who actually care about the sport.

Go pats

It was nice seeing the steelers lose but now it's time for the Jags.

Meh, I'm cool with the Igglez but can not stand the Giants or the Redskinz. Most Philly fans I know are good folks but most Giants/Skinz fans are obnoxious aholes. Of course a lot of Dallas fans I know are the same way. [emoji14]

We had three of the four divisional games come down to the very last play. The Saints/Vikings tilt will go down as one of the greatest sports moments ever.

Why do I feel like it can only go downhill from here?

Very interesting that Brees and Big Ben both had incredible days, and they still came up short. If memory serves correct, Brees and the Saints scored some points on nearly every possession in the second half, and still lost.

We have Brady, of course, and Foles, Keenum, and Bortles in the Championship round.

That's kinda cool!

Wow, I was looking around for different angles of the Diggs TD on YouTube and it led me to the tinfoil hat, flat earth, fake moon landing section of the site where some guy is claiming the outcome of the game -- and many NFL games -- was staged. Yet he still continues to watch a game he believes is rigged from the top on down? I don't know what's sadder, him or the conspiracy theory commenters.

You think they'd still let Bortles go if they won the Super Bowl?

If his performances in the AFC title game and Super Bowl are what they were in the first two rounds? Yes, I could see it. He'd be right there with Trent Dilfer and old man Peyton among the teams whose defense carried them to championships while they played like crap. Now if we're talking about Bortles throwing 5+ TD's and no picks in the AFC title game and Super Bowl that's a different story.

Lost in the win is that the Jags D gave up 42 points.

#1 pass defense?

Wow what a great day for football!

Wait were people in here thinking Jimmy G was going to actually hit the FA market?!?!?! Did you not pay attention to what he did for SF, what they gave up to get him?!?!? Like another poster said, the day after the season ended Lynch explicitly stated the Niners want him long term, I mean even if he didn't verbally say it would he even have to? The question is if they're going to franchise him for next season, to see how he does with a full season at the helm or if they lock him up long term based on the five starts he had already.
Niners are in good shape all around, offense is coming together, main area for improvement is the secondary. Yes it sucks that Foster was arrested but Alabama has some backwards ass marijuana laws.

Wow, that was insane. Had to work tonight here in MN but I work in a bar/restaurant - everybody had emotional whiplash! Went from being crushed to absolute shock lol, took awhile to believe what happened. These things never go our way!

Go Vikes!

Not only that, the Stadium will have nothing in purple other than 1 of the end zones, they will not be able to use the usual pump the home crowd stuff and AFC is the “home” team this year so if the Vikings make it they will be in the visitors locker room.
