Problem is they get into these mini rebuilds and if they don't fully commit they wind up wasting their young players careers and I just don't want to see it happen to Orakpo and Kerrigan


After he leaves however it happens not sure what they'll do since they've almost tried everything super bowl coaches, good coaches, bad coaches, college coaches, first time coaches

I honestly think Shanahan came back for the money, he has made no moves so far that suggest he is trying to turn the team around and compete in our tough division.

I saw them both as low-risk(financially) high reward type gambles that the Patriots were hoping would put them over the top, obviously they didn't work out. Offense has been exposed a bit as well, 20 points or less in 3 straight games after what, 15 straight with 30+?

The Patriots front office has been average at best since Pioli and Dimitroff left. They have had some decent pickups and draft picks but they've swung and missed a lot. They really need someone else in the front office that will stand up to Belichick when they think he's wrong because it's clear it's a bunch of yes men in there.

Much like our own team, Jones has way too many yes men in Dallas, hence the gaping holes in our roster.

As Expected Colts vs Pats week 13 has been moved to a 1pm Start time.

So it feels like the end of an era when we pass along the news today that the NFL has decided to move the Week 13 Colts-Patriots game out of prime time. The game had been set for the Week 13 Sunday night NBC slot, but with this year’s transformation of the Colts into the worst team in the league, it came as no surprise that the league moved the game down to Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. Eastern on CBS.

The NFL will announce in a couple of weeks which game is moving into the prime time slot for Week 13, which falls on Sunday, December 4. Lions-Saints or Bengals-Steelers would appear to be the best candidates, as Fox has protected the Packers-Giants game that day.

Agreed it seems he hasn't been that good in that role. Don't know if I agree with him stockpiling all those picks. Seems that his teams could you use those late 1st round picks. They could have had Clay Matthews, Michael Oher, Hakeem Nicks, and Kenny Britt in the first round of 2009, but traded back to pick Patrick Chung (not too bad), Ron Brace, and Darius Butler in the second rounds. Their team would be better if they had any one of those players.

The Broncos coaching staff has installed the read-option offense for Tim Tebow.
After trying to shoehorn Tebow into a pro-style offense, the coaching staff finally came around to the idea that he's best utilized as a runner out of the spread used at Florida. The Raiders were caught off guard last week, struggling to adjust on the ground or through the air against the first team to run the read-option substantially in the NFL. Romeo Crennel's Chiefs defense will be better prepared this week, so Tebow will face a stiffer test. He's going to have to prove he can hit outside timing throws for continued success out of the read-option.

Bills placed NT Kyle Williams (foot) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Williams was easily Buffalo's best defensive player entering the season, but they now have the luxury of sliding hotshot rookie Marcell Dareus to the middle. Williams' injury is reportedly the result of bone spurs irritating an Achilles' tendon. It's not clear if surgery will be an option. Williams just signed a new six-year, $33.555 million contract in August.

Bad news for the Bills. It's too bad, he was just starting to get recognized as a good player after last season.

Good news for us but I have a feeling their defensive line is still going to give us fits in pass protection, hope Romo's ready to scramble all morning against the Bills. Homer prediction is 24-23 Dallas, objective prediction is a push.

Dareus is a handful. He gave Mangold a run for his money this weekend, and that's saying something. He's gonna be a good player for the Bills for years.

Ugh makes me hope Kosier can't go and we'll be forced to start Dockery to give us more beef in the middle. The only good d-line we've done well against is the Lions, hopefully they repeat that performance.

Actually now that i look at it it would go to tiebreaker #4 conference record where cincy wins it.

Reason being in tiebreaker #3 common games there needs to be 4 common games between them & they havent hit that yet.

We're just lucky we have Dareus now. That kid is going to be a stud, I can't wait for next season when we have a healthy Williams to compliment him. The middle of of defensive line should be amongst the best in the NFL.

I could happily spend the rest of the season not watching another Colts game in prime time. They must still have Monday/Thursday games still to come though.
