The SB should be played at all 30 stadiums.

And NO international.

I think a rotation would be wonderful.

I can only imagine what a Super Bowl in Vegas would be like.

Jimmy Garoppolo got a $79,000 bonus for the Patriots making the Super Bowl. He gets another $112,000 if they win and $56,000 if they lose.

1. Getting awarded a SB means you have to have enough hotel rooms in the immediate area to house all of the personnel, ticket holders, and fans.

I don't recall what that minimum requirement is, but that alone would probably nix Green Bay.

2. The SB is really not for any average fan to attend. It's not a team controlled event. it's an "NFL Head Office controlled" event, and the week that leads up to it. Official and Corporate "Parties" abound. And the NFL wants it to be a gathering of corp. execs and their families, and well-heeled fans from around the nation.

3. Speaking of that... that's why I don't think the SB will go International. The US Govt. give the SB event a Special Designation, and allows for federal assets to be used to help make the event secure for all of those corp. execs and their families. Including special airplanes that will "sniff" for traces of any radioactivity (ie, from a bomb...).

Because nobody except American ex-pats give a crap about American football? It would just be 70,000 Americans traveling to some overseas location. Please don't give Goodell any more stupid ideas. These London games are already peak stupidity.

I even think Mexico games are too far but a Canadian Super Bowl could be interesting in the right city.

Canada is literally the only foreign country I could deal with.

Are there no stadiums in Hawaii suitable for a Super Bowl? If they want to get exotic I'd say just play one out there. Average temp there is in the 70's-80's in January. Seems like a great place and it's part of the U.S.

Probably figure the logistics of holding such a major sporting event there just don't work.

Yeah, security would be a massive threat in somewhere like the UK or continental Europe. The biggest American TV event of the year is a big target for any would be terrorist. That would be a colossal headache, especially if the President or high ranking U.S. officials attended an overseas Super Bowl, which would be likely.

Well if terrorists attacked the Boston Marathon, they would be chomping at the bit to attack the Super Bowl somewhere like Hawaii or London.

Hawaii's ballistic missile alert fiasco from last week doesn't help it's case at landing big sporting events...

Hell, I totally forgot about that. Hawaii might be possible in that respect with it being 5 hours behind EST. A 6 pm EST Super Bowl would be played at 1pm Hawaiian time.

A 6:30 kickoff EST would be around 11:30 London time for reference. So yeah, way too late.

Trust me I love watching the Olympics and it's always annoying what time they come on.

I've finally become an athlete myself so I will try to watch the Olympics if I can. Doubt I will watch the Super Bowl this year, don't care to see either team get a ring.
