Let's remember what happened in that game:



Packers up 26-21, with 4:35 left in the 4th quarter. In 4th & 2 the controversial play happened and the Cowboys reached the half yard if they get the reception. Now let's say they get the reception. What now? Do they score a TD? Do they fumble the ball? A FG? Packers stop them 4 times? Too many ifs as you can see.

Now, lets say they score and now the game is 27-26 Cowboys. Now what? Do they make a 2 pt conversion? Do they fail the conversion? Again too many ifs to say they were 'robbed'.

And let's not forget, the Packers reached the Dallas 28 after that play, and then they killed the clock. Who's to say they don't win it anyway with a Touchdown or a Field Goal.



To say the Cowboys were robbed like the Raiders... sorry, just no. The Raiders actually had the game with that turnover, unlike the Cowboys. Again, how do we know if they even score? And with that much time left, why not give Rodgers the benefit of the doubt, after all, he burned that defense in the next possession, and he burned them the next game and the next game after that as well.

Ryan Shazier will not play in 2018.

Not surprising, but still very terrible.

Shazier is fortunate he's still going to get paid $8.7 million since the 5th year option is guaranteed for injury. If he had suffered the injury in 2016 instead of 2017 the Steelers could have (and almost certainly would have) declined the option and he wouldn't have gotten paid. Who knows if he'll ever play again but hopefully he continues to improve and can have a high quality of life.

So now the Panthers need a new bigger RB, 'cause McCafrey, as skilled as he is, doesn't strike me as a RB ready to take 20 nice hits each game.

So either sign a veteran (Gore, maybe DeMarco Murray) or draft a RB again.

Murray hasn't been Murray since we ran the wheels off in 2014.

According to SNY's Ralph Vacchiano, there is "rampant speculation around the league" that free agent Kirk Cousins is "destined" to sign with the Vikings.

Vacchiano isn't a Vikings reporter, but he is covering the league currently at the NFL Combine. We've separately heard whispers Minnesota is Cousins' likeliest destination, but the Jets and Broncos will also make a strong push. It sounds like folks gathering in Indianapolis are whispering more loudly that Cousins-to-Minnesota is a probable match. Free agency will begin on Friday, March 16.

The CC are looking to make Pass Interference a 15 yard penalty instead of marking it at the spot of the foul. I like this a lot and support it 100%. Now if they can figure out a way to deter receivers from throwing their hands up after what seems like every damn incomplete pass trying to get the PI call, it would be the icing on the cake. They should make this a penalty too.
