Doubt he'd make it past us at 6.

Sammy Watkins to the Chiefs for 3-years, $48 million, with $30 million guaranteed. Seems like a lot for a guy that had 430 receiving yards in 2016 and 593 in 2017 and has never finished in the top 20 in receiving yards.

Cuz it is, but then again, the FA WR market was woefully thin.

Chiefs signed LB Anthony Hitchens, formerly of the Cowboys.

The deal is reportedly worth $9 million per year, a number which puts Hitchens near the top of the marker for off-ball linebackers. Hitchens will play on the inside in Kansas City, a big area of need with mainstay Derrick Johnson a free agent. Hitchens recorded 84 tackles across 12 games for the Cowboys last season.

Detroit is interested in Malcolm Butler.

DeMarco Murray, Jonathan Stewart to visit Detroit. I don't want either one..

Chiefs offense is definitely going to be scary with Watkins, Hill, Kelce, and Hunt. They've surrounded Mahomes with weapons and are definitely going to be a contender in the AFC as long as Mahomes lives up to the hype.

And for a guy who's been pretty much injured his whole career.

I too feel that same way for A-Rob. Best of luck to him in Chicago.

Not that there was much doubt but Drew Brees and the Saints have agreed to a 2-year, $50 million deal with $27 million guaranteed. Brees gets a full no-trade clause. It was important for the deal to get done because if he wasn't signed by tomorrow the Saints would have taken an $18 million dead cap hit in 2018, but now they'll be able to spread that hit out over multiple years.

Well, they have too much money tied up in two players, Tannehill and Suh. I've heard Suh is as good as gone, but he will still impact the cap for some time. I'd have kept Landry though. Glad Ajayi got a ring with the Eagles, but I understand RBs are easier to part with.

Been a pleasure to watch Paul Posluszny play as a Jaguar. At one point he was the best player on the team when the team had all those losing years. Wish he was a little younger now that Jags are starting to turn some heads.

At 33 or 34, Pos has lost a lot of speed. That's where Telvin Smith and Myles Jack come into play to make that up.
