The lack of integrity at the top in this league is just astounding and it grows by the day imo!
I didn’t think there was anyone that believed that nonsense. The new catch rules weren’t used in the Super Bowl. Heck, they weren’t even agreed on until recently.

I think your thinking of something else because this just came out yesterday with a discussion between espn host and Sal Paolantonio. Take a listen to what I posted as it makes a lot of sense regarding some of the calls in the last superbowl.

Sal Paolantonio has been a pretty solid NFL reporter for decades, no offense Movie but I'm going to take his word for it over yours, and he sounded pretty convinced this did take place.

After seeing that, I can’t help but see this:

Must’ve been a slow news day and they needed clicks.

I guess the NFL is keeping the 10 second runoff rule.

Some stupid things don't change.

Heath Shuler's terrible Wonderlic is amusing considering he ended up being elected to Congress in his post NFL days.

I still can't believe an NFL QB scored a 6. I took it on a lark and got a 35.

I would have thought you'd get 6 points just for getting your own name right. He must have been goofing on that test.

Surprised Tebow scored so low. He seemed like the type who would excel on these tests.

Generally, college fans are going to see their favorite team/school, not necessarily a player.
The top tier talent is still going to go to the NFL, who will have the most money to offer to those drafted.

It's cool that these start-up leagues will offer opportunities for the un-drafted to continue to play and have somewhat of a career but people aren't going to pay specifically to see NFL rejects play. The best these league can hope for (though Vince has said this is not the case with the XFL) is that these leagues will be minor leagues for the NFL or big fish, small pond type situations (popular in small and mid level media markets, where there's not much else going on in the way of pro sports).

There’s not enough talent for the NFL. I don’t know how two separate leagues plan to put a good product on the field.

One handed UCF star Shaquem Griffin will be attending the NFL draft. That's a bold move considering he's projected to be a mid round draft pick. Who knows, maybe he'll go sooner than expected coming off of a great combine and Pro Day.
