No way poor kid will be 6th maybe 7th round. Love his passion and he deserves better but we watch short QBs fall fast I don’t think he will go high but I hope I’m wrong.

He's widely considered a 3rd-5th round pick. Not very likely he slips to the 6th or beyond.

Nfl.com has him listed as 5-6 round and I'm sorry but it took 2 seasons before people believed Jpp could play with a messed up hand. I just don't know if anyone would reach on him. Football has been ugly lately and a lot of coaches are gonna wonder how he can tackle in the NFL not college. But his passion is undeniable and can't wait to root for him.

I can definitely see the Cowboys drafting him, they took a leap on Sean Lee and Jaylon Smith after all.

From what the draft insiders are saying he should go earlier than expected. NFL teams love him.

The Boston Sports Journal's Greg Bedard passes along word from a "Bill Belichick-friendly source" that the longer Rob Gronkowski goes without committing to the team, the chances of the Patriots trading him increase.

This is pure speculation, but it isn't the first time we've seen it, as MMQB's Albert Breer hinted at it as well in a piece on Thursday. Both Breer and Bedard are ex-Patriots beat writers with plenty of connections to the team. Gronkowski has yet to inform the Patriots of his 2018 plans, and some think Belichick could use that as fuel to trade the star tight end, who may be tiring of playing at a massive discount in New England. Bedard mentions the 49ers and Rams as suitors should Gronkowski become available. 29-year-old (in May) Gronk is the fourth-highest-paid tight end at $9 million per year and has two years left on his deal.

Thomas Rawls, who was a running back sensation for half his rookie year with the Seahawks and then got hurt and fell off the map, is now a Jet.

Also, what is it with QB retreads that everyone knows can't do jack on the field? Brandon Weeden is now a Texan and Tom Savage is now a Saint.

Yeah it's nearing the end. You have to be amazed though that an antiquated method of coaching and management continued to work well past it's expiry date.

So he did sign, huh? Hmm, interesting. That makes me think that they're moving on from Bilal Powell which is such a mistake, as usual they've never used him correctly and he'll now go elsewhere and be a stud for someone. I could see him being a Saint and blow up with a competent QB.

Unreal, these guys are holding clipboards for more than you and I will see in both our lifetimes combined.

Not sure it's quite antiquated, I mean they were just in the SB.

What's with the Raiders getting rid of Kickers?

With Janikowski it was clearly a monetary decision (way cheaper Kicker on the house), but with King... I don't even know, it's not like he was going to cost much more than in 2017, I think it was about $500,000 more than last year.

Oh. It was about money after all.

"Raiders released P Marquette King.

The moves saves the cap-strapped Raiders $2.9 million. King has consistently been among the league's best punters, earning All-Pro recognition in 2016 while ranking sixth in punt average (47.4) last season. The Raiders will move forward with UC Davis alum Colby Wadman as their primary punter."

Strapped for cash Raiders unveil their new Kicking unit.

"With the money we were prepared to pay, these are the guys we could get", they said.
