"Trust the process" is loser-speak. It's usually said by fans of deadbeat teams going through rebuilding processes for 5+ years with no positive end result. That being said I wouldn't apply it to the Patriots. At least not as long as Brady is playing well, as long as that may be.

It's a term used by the Sixers. They tanked for 3 years (maybe more) and now they've become a contender.

I don’t see it happening bill giving up a bunch for a QB. Mostly likely he will just draft now needs and maybe find a QB in the second round.

Trust the process, Chad. Become addicted to the process. The process ended the drought for us.

The Miami Dolphins have been going through the process for several decades. I'm starting not to trust it.

You can add the NYJ in there too.

Yeah, that's what I think the Patriots do just because Allen, Darnold, Rosen, and Mayfield are likely to go in the top 6 picks and there's no way the Patriots are trading that high, and after that there's not a QB worth trading up for. Lamar Jackson could be available with the Rams pick, but I think more likely they'd go with someone like Mason Rudolph in the second or Luke Falk or Richmond's Kyle Lauletta in the third or fourth.

That's a bit harsh.. some teams may have traditions of losing for decades, but ownership and/or front office changes can change the entire culture and future. So, I think "trust the process" is not loser speak, so long as there is a positive direction that one can see. Teams like Buffalo, Detroit - and MAYBE Cleveland (within the past few months) can say this.

Detroit cant say shit what have we done this offseason nothing. We signed an over the hill Blount thats about it. Look at what our divisional competition has done. Minnesota had a boss offseason same with Chicago, and even to some extent Pats.

Detroit didnt shore up the defense, didnt get a running back thats worthy. Havent made any moves for the draft.

Green Bay is getting back a top 5 all-time QB but definitely need to find Driver's complement after getting rid of Jordy Nelson

I don't mind it at all. I didn't see anything great in this year's FA that we either don't need. A few signings we did add gave us some additional depth. I really like the signing of Blount and I'm sure they'll address RB in the early rounds of the draft.

One position of dire need is TE. I'm fine letting Ebron leave but they did so after Fells left for Cleveland. I really hope something is in the works that no one knows about.

PLUS, the biggest thing they could have done, they DID - getting one of the best potential head coaches with Matt Patricia. This guy will be great for us. That in itself will be HUGE.. we have had decent teams last couple years, but with a lackluster coach.

It's not.... we got Quinn, a new scouting department, new strength/conditioning, and we finally let Quinn pick his own guy since Caldwell was already there when Quinn was hired.

Any signings this year would probably not have helped us much or be too costly.

RGIII is back, signing a one-year contract with the Ravens. The Ravens only have Joe Flacco and Josh Woodrum at QB so they needed depth at QB, but we'll see if a year off helped RGIII get back to his old form.

Seems obvious that ever since Martha has taken over the reigns, the team has done considerably well the past few years (compared to numerous prior years).
