49ers LB Reuben Foster was charged with felony domestic violence by the Santa Clara DA on Thursday.

The charge stems from an incident in February in which Foster was accused of dragging his live-in girlfriend and punching her "8 to 10 times" during a dispute. In addition to the domestic violence charge, Foster is accused of forcefully attempting to prevent the reporting of a crime, possession of an assault weapon, and misdemeanor possession of a large capacity weapon magazine. According to the DA, he is facing more than 11 years in prison if convicted.

Daily Kapernick Post, guys an idiot and just took himself out of the league again.

The Seattle Seahawks scheduled a workout this week with quarterback Colin Kaepernick but postponed it after Kaepernick would not assure the team that he wouldn’t kneel during the playing of the national anthem.

That’s according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Citing league sources, Schefter writes that the Seahawks reached out to Kaepernick two weeks ago to arrange a visit to the team facility and workout, and made tentative travel arrangements.

Colin Kaepernick, would not assure Seattle that he will not continue to kneel during the national anthem, so the Seahawks postponed a visit with the free agent quarterback. (AP)

Cowboys expected to release WR Dev Bryant today, barring an unexpected last-minute change of heart, per @toddarcher and me. But the plan going into meeting that is now underway was to part ways with Bryant.

Be interesting to see where Dez goes. While Dez isn't the receiver he once was he could still be dangerous in the right situation. He'd make a lot of sense for the Patriots if he's not too expensive.

This is why Colin Kaepernick is not worth the baggage he brings with him. Here's a headline from a Yahoo article today:

"The Seahawks sign a quarterback (not Colin Kaepernick) who hasn't appeared in NFL game"

The writer waits until the fifth paragraph to mention that Stephen Morris won't be the last QB the Seahawks will bring in. In all likelihood, Morris is just an extra arm on the roster to throw the ball to players and will get cut when the team deems another QB to be the better backup. But could you imagine all the whining and complaining if that had been Kaep's role?

Kaep's most vocal "participation trophy" supporters are part of the baggage.
