Dolphins picks:

1st rd. Minkah Fitzpatrick, S, Alabama - 6'1" 203lbs
2nd rd. Mike Gesicki, TE, Penn State - 6'6" 249lbs
3rd rd. Jerome Baker, LB, Ohio State - 6'1' 225lbs
4th rd. Durham Smythe, TE, Notre Dame - 6'4" 236lbs
4th rd. Kalen Ballage, RB, Arizona State - 6'3" 229lbs

I'm excited to see if Gesicki can be a red zone target, but Baker seems a little small to be a LB, but they said that about Zach Thomas too.

Beginning to trust the process in Detroit, Got our lineman, Got our new Running Back, Went all D afterwards. Didnt love the first pick but when you package it with a versatile running like Johnson im game.

In 3 years the guy has not given up a sack and he can play center and guard very happy.

Switzer is a decent slot receiver/punt returner. He became expendable after we picked up Tavon Austin and Allen Hurns.

I’ve trusted Quinn the moment he was hired. Has not done anything wrong.

He's way overpaid but I guess a 6th rounder for Tavon Austin ain't too bad

He's the player we needed after Lance Dunbar left in free agency and I think he will upgrade our return game too.

I know OL isn’t a fun draft pick, but I wish the Dolphins would’ve have picked up one or two. I can’t remember the last time we had a decent OL. The 90’s? I think Tannehill ranks pretty high on number of sacks. Admittedly some of those are his fault.

Loved our draft. Added a lot of talent at positions of need.

Trust the process. Become addicted to the process.

SportsDay DFW's David Moore reports the Cowboys are not done pursuing Seahawks FS Earl Thomas.

Moore continues Dallas' attraction to Thomas is "real" and the team's inability to trade for him mid-draft "doesn't diminish their desire going forward". The Cowboys were reportedly one of two teams who made an offer for Thomas last week but Seattle's asking price was said to still be "too high". It's possible a deal materializes in the coming weeks if Thomas decidedly holds out during negotiations. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll remains steadfast that the team has "been counting on Earl being [in Seattle] the whole time".

Austin's deal never made any sense. The Rams chose to extend him after his 3rd year even though they had him under contract for another year plus the 5th year option, and gave him #1 receiver money even though he'd largely been a bust. His best season at the time was 907 yards from scrimmage, with 473 yards receiving and 434 yards rushing. If they'd just let him play out the final 2 years of his deal it would have cost them roughly $14 million (and that's assuming they would have paid him over $12 million in 2017 rather than cutting him), but instead they paid him roughly $20 million for those 2 seasons plus another $4 million roster bonus in 2018.

Really surprised MIA didn't try to pick up a QB during the draft, but I'm happy that they're rolling with Tannehill for now.

Per Ohio State's verified Twitter page he's accepted an invitation to the Saints rookie minicamp, which is the same weekend as the Colts' camp, so he apparently changed his mind.

Don't blame him, NO's a better team and yeah, he may have more of an opportunity to start in Indy but that's short-term.
