US Attorney Bill McSwain announced Browns LB Mychal Kendricks has been charged with insider trading.

We're not sure about the details here, but this comes out of nowhere. Kendricks released a statement, admitting "four years ago, I participated in insider trading, and I deeply regret it." Kendricks continues, saying he invested money with a former friend and vows to repay the illegal funds. This is obviously a serious issue, but we have no clue how it affects Kendricks' football status right now. Kendricks signed a one-year deal in Cleveland back in June.

AST season took its toll, and that’s going to carry over to this season. I’m thinking 8/9 win season. Still some hangover left too I bet.
That still might be enough to win the division.
Team has a lot of young, promising talent. If Sydney Jones comes back 100% that would be huge!

In his column this week Peter King speculated that Wentz won't play until week 3. There's just no reason to rush the return of your young franchise quarterback when you've got the reigning Super Bowl MVP backing him up.

Agreed, but the reigning Super Bowl MVP has been playing like poop.

Yes it's just the pre-season, but he was incredibly inconsistent at the end of last season and into the playoffs as well. Thankfully he turned it on for the last two games, when it mattered.

I am a Niners fan and am excited about the upcoming full season with Jimmy G at the helm but he has yet to prove much and is fortunate that at the time the market dictated he got what he got. That's how it goes.

Vikings WR Cayleb Jones was arrested and charged with felony theft and misdemeanor domestic assault on Tuesday.

Jones isn't long for the NFL. Already slapped with a four-game suspension earlier in the offseason for violating the league's PEDs policy, this is just more fuel for the Vikings to cut the third-year UDFA. We'd be surprised if Jones was on the Vikings' roster by the time the weekend rolls around.

A-Rod is the best QB in the NFL and possibly ever (fellow current QB Tom Shady in that conversation). They really had no choice but to pay him but they should definitely fire their negotiators. He's on the wrong side of 35 and is starting to get increasingly brittle. I'd be surprised if he plays more than 2-3 more seasons.

He is NOT the best... lol. Not in the league at the moment, and certainly not the best ever.
