As excited as the crowd gets, when do you think it will dawn on them that Foles probably is a better receiver than a passer?

I don't understand how they get things wrong with instant replay. It seemed to me that he clearly had that ball on his shoulder before he went out of bounds. I don't really care who wins this game but don't like when huge missed calls like that happen.

That game was legit AWFUL. Sark is one of the WORST OCs I've ever seen in the NFL and I've seen a ton of bad ones with the Jets. I mean the guy couldn't coordinate a circle jerk FFS. And Matty Slush was true to form, pissing down his leg at every chance. And what was up with his arm? He had no mustard on his balls until the end of the game. It's clear Shanny was the reason for his MVP season. They never should have let him get away.

Went to bed at halftime, ugly first half but of course things picked up after I tuned out lol. Gonna watch the highlights after work but I'm glad we won, ugly as it may have been.

Refs are trash, over-officiating is ruining the game. Was watching it with my dad and when there were three plays in a row flagged (two were false starts, can't remember the other), he got up and left. Of course right after those three plays, there's flagrant DPI on Mike Wallace that the refs turn a blind eye to. They clearly can't be consistent, so just stay out of the way and let the players play. All the ticky-tack BS stuff gets flagged, but other stuff that actually make a difference either doesn't get called properly, or is still botched when challenged and shown clear evidence to overturn. THAT'S ruining the game more than any anthem protests or new rules.

Last night's game got a preliminary 13.4 TV rating, which is pretty awful for the opener. Last year's Patriots-Chiefs opener did a 14.6 rating, 2016's Panthers-Broncos opener did a 16.5, and 2015's Patriots-Steelers opener did a 17.7. More complete TV data will be available later this morning.
