Sanchez looking more and more Alex Smithesque. Makes me wonder if he'll ever be able to put his stupid mistakes behind him and be a championship caliber QB.

Amuses me how many 49er fans think he'll be good enough to win in the post-season when honestly I have yet to see him have 1 spectacular game this season. He will easily be the 6th best QB in the NFC play-offs this year.

he played really well vs the Giants

the running game including frank gore did squat and it was all Alex Smith and the defense

he had one pick that was 100% the receiver's fault

Colts will go winless, they lost to the team they had the best chance of beating (Jags)

season finale for them is also Jags but they'll lose that too

They have 3 more chances IMO: Carolina and Tenn at home and the Jags on the road. I know you look at Tenn and say no way but Tenn is a team that can struggle to score at times.

amazes me how fast the Ravens abandon the run
they could be down a field goal and they'll go pass happy

1. Texans
2. Steelers
3. Patriots
4. Ravens

He may not put up the stats that Rodgers, Brees, and some of the other top QBs put up, but his team is 8-1, must be doing something right. As long as he manages the game well and doesn't turnover the ball, don't see why the Niners can't make a deep playoff run with him as their QB.

Gotta love the Patriots remaining schedule:
Vs. Kansas City (4-5)
At Philly (3-6)
Vs. Indy (0-10)
At Washington (3-6)
At Denver (4-5)
Vs. Miami (2-7)
Vs. Buffalo (5-4)

There's no way they should go worse than 12-4 with that schedule, and it wouldn't be surprising if they won out.

From what I saw (I watched the game so they replayed it a lot) He was holding onto Stafford's jersey, driving him back, and trying to throw him down long after Stafford wasn't really in the play....

It's pretty much a given that you go after the QB and try to give him a knock-out-blow of a block, but that's not what he was trying to do.

Early you can see Stafford try to push him off of him, and he just wasn't letting up..... Stafford went after the head to try to get him to break his grasp, which is fine, because I "think" he stayed away from the face-mask.

Either way Stafford didn't want to be dragged to the ground and landed on when he was out of the play, the other guy just tried to play through to the whistle, and I think they both just played hard on the play..... it's just that once the play was over, he had no reason to go after Stafford.

I think the "dragged him down by the helmet" part is a little over-blown, as it wasn't much different than grabbing his shoulders.... he tried the chest, and the shoulders, he just couldn't get him to let go of him

Vs. Kansas City (4-5) = Win
At Philly (3-6) = Win
Vs. Indy (0-10) = Win
At Washington (3-6) = Win I think it'll be worse than the 19-0 win
At Denver (4-5) LOSS to TEBOW
Vs. Miami (2-7) = Win
Vs. Buffalo (5-4) = Win

Brady who this is the 3-1 Tebow show

After next week's game against the Panthers, can Jim Irsay fire Jim Caldwell and make the OC the interm HC?

As a coach, Jim Caldwell make me wanna throw up.

Yup, especially after seeing the 7-9 Seahawks beating the Super Bowl defending champion last year.

Only teams worse at scoring (gigitty) then the Redskins are: Browns, Rams, Jags.

I heard on the radio that the Saints are 0-11 on coin tosses this year (0-10 to start games, 0-1 in overtime).
