Nothing to celebrate here. My biggest fear heading into the season was Jimmy G. getting injured and low and behold.....yeah. On the bright side if it indeed is season ending, he will have more time to study Shanahan's offense and we will probably end up with another top 10 pick (possibly top 5) in next years draft......hooray!

No team in the league is anywhere near as bad as the Patriots receiving corp. Chris Hogan is fairly average, Phillip Dorsett is mediocre at best, and Cordarrelle Patterson is a kick returner who's pretending to be a receiver. With receivers that bad teams can just double team Gronk every play because he's the only threat. We'll see if things change once Edelman returns and Josh Gordon learns the offense.

Belichick rightfully gets a lot of slack because the team has been so good but he's been absolutely terrible drafting in recent years. He hasn't hit on a first round pick since 2012 and has had numerous early round busts. There's been some mid round hits but his drafts in 2016 and 2017 were absolutely horrible with only one starter drafted. The Patriots may end up alright because they've had bad starts in the past that they've overcome but this team has major issues on both sides of the ball.

I’m not sure why the Patriots didn’t suit up Gordon just to be a decoy. Lions would have had to account for him.
