No idea, haven't heard any compensation rumours but imagine that's where it starts. NY is the first confirmed suitor.

Why figures? I would presume it falls under the header of "due diligence."

Not sure he's a good fit for the NYJ for a variety of reason...the OL is a mess, Bell will want a ton of money in a restructured contract, I presume the asking price is exorbitant and he's 30 and has been used a TON in PIT. My opinion is "hard pass."

Stephen Jones and the rest of the competition committee are going to review this ridiculous roughing the passer rule.

Yeah, for a team thinking long term he doesn’t make a lot of sense.

The sack rule is so open to interpretation, they are just asking for a huge controversy come playoff time.

How can a professional organization have so many issues just deciding what is a catch and how to tackle, two of the most fundamental aspects of the game!

Too many morons like Stephen Jones on the competition committee that don't understand the fundamentals of football.

I can't imagine the Steelers will get a huge haul if they trade Bell because even if he's traded he can't sign a long-term deal until after the season, and the team trading for him would be unlikely to use the franchise tag on him since he's already been tagged twice and thus another tag would cost almost $21 million. Also, unless a team is willing to pay significantly more than the $14.5 million Bell is due this season (less the $1.7 million he's already lost) then Bell won't have any incentive to sign his tender any earlier than he planned to already, which could be week 10, so a team trading for Bell might only get him for 7-8 games.

Why is Hue Jackson a Head coach? He has 10 wins, 40 Losses, and 1 tie. Browns need to fire his ass and give Jeff Fisher or John Fox a call, neither is a popular choice but they can at least get them to a something better than 1-15, 0-16.

Colts coach Frank Reich insisted Monday that the team is not concerned with Andrew Luck's arm strength.

The Colts are almost never challenging defenses in the vertical passing game, and they pulled Luck for Jacoby Brissett to attempt Sunday's last-gasp Hail Mary pass against the Eagles. "What I've seen is he makes all the throws," Reich insisted. "There's been plenty of throws down the field, in my mind ... (What) I've seen is a guy who is extremely accurate. I have no concerns about velocity." The Colts return home to face J.J. Watt's Texans next.

Would Fisher even want to come back? He'd end up having the most career losses record all to himself.

Bell is 26, not 30. Steelers have run him into the ground though.
