I’m not convinced we would move him unless the Eagles go in desperation mode. He’s quite literally the only weapon we have available offensively.

WIVB Buffalo's Josh Reed reports the Eagles have "reached out" to the Bills about acquiring LeSean McCoy.

This move would make a lot of sense. In the middle of a rebuild, the Bills do not need to pay a 30-year-old running back for the next two seasons, but it makes a lot of sense for an Eagles squad which is in the middle of their championship window and just lost Jay Ajayi to a torn ACL. McCoy did not leave Philly on the best terms way back in 2015, but Chip Kelly is long gone. Although it could take him some time to settle in, McCoy's fantasy value would get a big boost if he is traded to the Eagles...or really anywhere else.

I'd be ok if Detroit traded a RB to Philly. I mean we have Johnson, Blount, Riddick, and Abdullah.

IIRC, they just made a cap move to reduce someone's salary so they had money available if needed (Fletcher Cox maybe?).

Keep in mind this is the Jets we're talking about here.

So you're SURE about the Pats* beating KC, huh? With THAT defense?! Interesting take.

I know they are in win now mode, but man have they been pushing a lot of money down the road. Eventually that catches up to you.

You’re right, but supposedly it wasn’t for Bell. Even if that was true at the time, circumstances have changed, and the more Pitt wins without Bell, the more disposable he becomes to them. So here’s hoping (but it’s obviously a long shot, I know this ).

Why not go for someone like Tevin Coleman? He's highly unlikely to resign with Atlanta, and would come cheaper than McCoy or Bell.

It already has, as they had very little cap space going into this season, but GM of the Year Howie Roseman keeps working the magic. Philly still has a nice bargaining chip in form of Nick Foles, which would shave 6-7mil off the books depending on how he was dealt. Howie is probably waiting for a contender to lose their QB for the season, then the price for Foles skyrockets.
I’d rather they focused on landing a good players for the reeling secondary. RBs can be plucked off the waiver wire and have a better chance than a CB or safety.
The Jalen Mills experiment needs to end, quickly!

Speaking Wednesday, coach Sean McDermott didn't totally dismiss the possibility of trading LeSean McCoy.

"We’re just looking forward to the Houston Texans," McDermott said unprompted. "We get calls all the time. Incoming calls happen all the time. [GM] Brandon [Beane] and I talk a lot. I won’t get into any more detail than that. LeSean is a valuable member of our football team and we'll leave it at that." McDermott downplays the swirling rumors that popped up on Tuesday, but clearly did not shoot them down completely. We'd bet the Bills would love to get a mid-rounder back.

I dunno how high the asking price for Foles is after his performance in the first two weeks. Not that he was terrible by any means, but he reminded people of how inconsistent and mortal he really is. The best time to cash in would've been during the offseason, when everyone was still high from his performances vs. Vikings and Pats. I'm glad we held onto him while Carson rehabbed, but I'm not gonna expect more than maybe a third-rounder and another late-rounder for him at this point if any team gets desperate.

Nick Foles is a journeyman who somehow caught lightning in a bottle. He's pretty much good for the Philly Special and not much else. I don't see anyone giving up much for him with that contract you gave him. Would have to be a lower pick with a renegotiate.

Lol, Foles would be an upgrade in Dallas.

I disagree, especially with our void of talent at WR and TE and our issues with pass-blocking at OT and LG.

Foles doesn't make anyone better. The offensive weapons around him last year were on fire.

I know my team (offensively) feels like they're in desperate mode since we're banged up at RB and we're digging deep at LT, but Ereck Flowers is going to visit the team. If I remember correctly when we played the Giants back in Week 1. Calais Campbell manhandled Flowers all game long getting to Eli.

Pretty much everyone has manhandled Flowers. Flowers has been one of the bigger draft busts in recent years, and in addition to poor performance he's had a bad attitude throughout his career.
