Some player (can't remember who) referred to players as consultants, that it's best to look at yourself as if you've been brought in to address a specific issue and once they either solve the problem or find someone younger/cheaper, they'll send you on your way. I understand why sentimental attachments are developed between players and teams but this is a business at the end of the day.

Of course it’s a business which is why I always cringe when players make these proclamations.

A player of Peterson’s caliber could easily have a no trade clause in his next contract. So he could decide his own future. The obvious x-factor would be injury and the subsequent comeback.

If the Texans keep it up, the way the Jags are going, it's Houston's division to lose. Titans have their moments from what I've seen but they're inconsistent.

Me too, for one of my leagues.

Which, after a very slow start in last night's game, I see he rebounded quite nicely. I turned the game off somewhere in the 3rd right after Danny's throw.
