Steelers and Patriots offered Bruce Irvin the most money, but he signed with the Falcons to play for his hometown team.

According to SNY's Ralph Vacchiano, Josh McCown will start Week 10 against the Bills.

He'll be filling in for Sam Bradford, who is out with a "significant" foot sprain. McCown hasn't seen the field yet in 2018, though he was serviceable as a starter last year, completing over 67 percent of his passes with 18 touchdowns and only nine interceptions. He'll be worthy of streaming consideration Sunday against the Bills, who are riding a four-game losing skid.

LOL Sam Bradford.

I know it will never happen, but it would be awesome if Bell suited up and played tonight, just to mess up Conner’s snap count, since I’m playing against him with first place up for grabs in my league.

Ugh! Sproles re-aggravates his hammy, out again.
I love Sproles and Peters, but these guys are losing the Father Time battle.

So most of the media (and apparently Le'Veon Bell and his agent) assumed if Le'Veon Bell didn't play this year the Steelers could franchise him again at $14.5 million, but now it appears that even if Bell doesn't play this year if he gets tagged again it would be considered his third time being tagged (even though he didn't play the season of his second tag) and his cap number would be roughly $25 million. The Steelers would never tag him at that number, so Bell could choose not to play at all this year and become an unrestricted free agent when the new league year starts. The Steelers could use the transition tag on Bell but that only gives them the right to match any offer for Bell and gives them no compensation if they don't match, and since nobody would expect the Steelers to match a big offer for Bell (assuming James Connor stays healthy) it likely wouldn't scare away any suitors. That doesn't mean Bell won't report by next week's deadline but it's not as important a deadline as everyone assumed.

Speaking of Steelers....

The other flippin' idiot, Antonio Brown, was cited for going 110+ mph.

I'm sure he won't get disciplined.

Let’s just say Bell doesn’t play this year. He lost a year of salary(in the $14mil range) and a year stats(for what that’s worth), and a possible Championship should Pitt go all the way.
The team has clearly found a replacement, and are doing much better than at this time last season WITH Bell. Next to New England, Pittsburgh has the best front office/talent evaluators in the league. Just look at all the WRs they have drafted and lost to salary over the years. It’s incredible.
So most likely Bell is going to sign a massive deal with some other team. Off the top of my head, Oakland/TB/Jets have a bunch of cap space?

The whole Bell situation just further reinforces the notion that RB is the most disposable position in football.

Antonio Brown caught speeding at 100 mph and even worse wasn't on a highway. Do the Steelers have the guts to fine or suspend him for at least part of the game? Probably not.

I don't know. As bad as the Cowboys' offense has been, losing Elliott would probably make it historically bad.
