Unless he has another small domestic violence issue why would he get tagged? The offense clearly runs through him.

I get what you're saying about playing a game, but these guys are pro athletes. They have to keep their bodies in tip top shape, all year long, train like a mofo, attend training camps during the summer in ridiculous temperatures, go through the battery of an NFL season where in-game collisions are as bad or worse than a car crash x how many times a game, travel back and forth, prepare mentally and physically, in their "spare time" do the charity thing, etc. Some folks make it seem like they just walk on a field at 12:59PM on Sunday and play ball and it's not remotely like that...not even close.

They should only get one season to place a tag on someone, I think that is completely fair.
They are already getting paid millions to perform at a high level. Lol!
More times than not the level declines, so where is the discount for that? If players are going to bargain and/hold out for every possible dollar they can get why can’t the organization recoup some if they fail to achieve for the length of their contract?
This is a team sport, right? Maybe not.

Curious who the Packers coach is next year. There's no way they bring McCarthy back if they miss the playoffs and at 4-5-1 they'd have to win out to have a shot at the playoffs, and that seems unlikely. I'd think they'd go with an offensive coach that they think could get the most out of Rodgers, and I'd think Rodgers will have significant input in the coaching search.

The danger of games being available to stream on Amazon Prime is that I always think I can just take my laptop to bed and watch it there without passing out. When will I learn...

McCarthy's gone after this season btw.

Think it could be a landing spot for McDaniels?

I'd say McDaniels but I believe he made a deal with the Devil (Kraft) to stay after Bellicheat leaves when Brady retires.
