Just another thing that the NCAA does better than the NFL.

Oh, for sure, but still just a bad way to determine the winner of a hard-fought tied game after 60 minutes. Baby steps for the “League”, I guess.

How else would they do it? Just change possession to whichever team didn't have it at the end of Q4? I dunno if I like the idea of whoever received the kick at the beginning of the game getting to receive again, since the other team would get it after halftime. That's basically just another coin toss dictating which offense gets to start OT.

Still flip a coin, but give both teams an opportunity to score from the 35-yard line. Just like College Football. The idea of only one team getting an opportunity to decide the outcome is antiquated, at best.

I feel dirty for cheering for the Pats, but I needs a nice Vikings loss here, so that loss to the Giants is moot, division wise anyways.
