Seems to be a Philly thing, I'm not sure if this was ever reported on or proven but I really distrusted the Sixers medical staff during those tanking seasons.

On top of that, I wouldn't mind seeing more coaching challenges allowed - which, again if there was a command center, this wouldn't be needed.

Baby steps, guys. I still don't understand why they use chains to measure first downs when sports like tennis can use technology to pinpoint exactly where a ball clips the line.

Because Gene needs to use his playing card trick.

Didn't the NFL say you can't use a playing card to measure for 1st downs?

Cuz it builds in the bullshit factor that the NFL can exploit to sway games, if not outright fix.

There's no way a season can have so many good primetime games by sheer coincidence. We'll find out why in a few years lol

They also said defensive linemen cant fall onto a QB with all his weight attempting a sack, and it happened to Rivers at least twice last night on 3rd down plays!

Was a Impressive comeback win for the Chargers against the Chiefs & Referee crew while of the road to boot.

Slow media day. *yawn*
Howie Roseman’s career is directly tied to Carson Wentz. If Lurie fires him, for whatever reason, I don’t see him getting a job elsewhere as he’s not viewed a “football guy”. He was a close friend of Lurie and that’s how he moved up in the organization so quickly.
Now with that said, I find it hard to believe that Howie, who literally oversees everything in the Eagles complex would hide potential career ending injury data to the face of the franchise. Even if the Eagles currently held a playoff spot/had a very good chance of making the post season, I don’t see this happening.
Today’s younger generation(that I weep for) loves nothing more than a good witch hunt. The “media”, if you can even call them journalists any more, are attracted to witch hunts like moths to a flame.
On a side note, say all you want about Chip Kelly...but the guy had one of the leagues most healthiest teams for 3 straight years. Maybe Lurie could throw a ton of money at him to be the Strentgh & Conditioning Coach?

This whole “story” goes away if the Eagles just shut down Wentz for the season(I mean really what’s the point) and get him well rested for what could be a big run next season once everyone is healthy, big contracts are shed, a few key free agents are brought in(Bell/Hunt) and they have a solid draft.

Apparently he was in college but I don't really watch college football enough to say if I agree/disagree. As far as his NFL career goes, he had a big injury last year and I just don't think he ever fully healed from it. Sit him now, get him all the rest and recovery time he needs, and come back next year better than ever with a fully healthy roster and what should (hopefully) be an easier schedule since it looks like we'll finish 2nd in the division.

Remember when Stafford was out his first two years?

Or, he could be another Bradford.

Carson Wentz is going to be amazing once he gets his health straightened out, those ACL injuries are definitely a red flag though.

Can’t really say right now, as there’s not much of a sample size. We will know, one way or another, in due time.
The only saving grace from this is his contract might be a tad smaller, or structured to safeguard against injury, on account of his missing games the last two seasons.

No one watching Jets/Texans?

Jets D has looked really great for the most part... if only their kicker could make an extra point.
