Can't wait for the Bengals to announce the hiring of Hue Jackson as their new head coach.

Eight out of 32 teams.

25% of the league is looking for a new HC.

It's crazy that he's even being mentioned as a possibility, much less as the potential frontrunner. He should never get a shot as a head coach again after the Cleveland disaster, especially after they suddenly became decent once they fired Hue and Cincy immediately became awful once he joined the staff.

Lots of ugly post-mortems about the Skins's season and future, but this one from the weekend is probably the most sobering:

A once-proud franchise, the Redskins are showing signs of foundational cracks

Quote:
The decisions Snyder makes in three key areas will determine the future stability and relevance of the Redskins — a $3.1 billion business that is showing troubling foundational cracks. In the past year alone, regular season attendance is down nearly 24 percent at FedEx Field and game-day revenue, by conservative calculations, has plunged $18 million.

I agree completely, but Mike Brown can always be counted on to do Mike Brown things, and hiring Hue as HC would definitely qualify.

If that happens, the Bengals will replace the Browns as the team that instantly provides 2 quick and easy wins for the rest of the AFC North.

Reportedly Rex Ryan wants to coach the Dolphins, continuing his reign of terror through the AFC East.

Chiefs vs Bears
or
Chiefs vs Rams

That's my personal preference for the Super Bowl. I think it's time for a new poll.

I hope the clapper is next if we lose to Seattle Saturday night. Scott Linehan and Rod Marinelli can join him too.

Garrett making the playoffs is enough to keep him around. Winning is just a bonus.

I was saying this several years ago. I was amazed that Washington actually had a season ticket waiting list for what amounted to a below average product for the better part of two decades(ditto Dallas). I had three friend that all sold off their season tickets long ago, and never looked back. They were livid with Snyder and how he gouged fans on ticket prices and especially parking fees. Then came all the seat switching. Just a mess.

The Miami Herald's Adam Beasley reports Adam Gase is a "very real possibility" for the Browns' head coach job.

This isn't the first time we're seen Gase connected to the Browns. 40-year-old Gase is coming off two straight losing seasons and had bottom of the league offenses in Miami, but he's the youngest retread available this coaching cycle. Owner Jimmy Haslam is a known Gase supporter, so it won't be surprising if he gets an interview. Gase is high on Baker Mayfield but has a rocky relationship with Jarvis Landry — a potential concern given his history of chasing off players. The Browns aggresively pursued Gase for their head coach job back in 2014.

Stay out of Dorsey's way, Hee Haw! Let the man do the job you hired him to do!

I don't want Gase anywhere near the Browns. Dolphins players went to the owner and asked for trades out of town if he stayed on as HC. Plus, Jarvis Landry hates him.

Ravens could be a scary team to face again against the Chargers, except this time, it'll be @ Ravens. Ravens D will win it like last night.

This is a year where it might be better to be the 2 seed than the 1 in the AFC. As a Patriots fan I'd much rather face the Texans (assuming they beat the Colts) in the divisional round than the Ravens or Chargers. I could see either of those teams knocking off the Chiefs.
