How do you not give Winston his 1 year option? Not a Winston fan at all but what choice do we have? Fitz will retire and all we have after him is Ryan Griffin. There's not a long list of quality QB's out there to be had for $20 million. My guess is Jameis is a band-aid next year. I think the new coach will draft his replacement and play wait and see. If Winston thrives under the new coach (he won't) keep him. If not, he's shown the door.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Browns have "no plans" to interview Adam Gase for their head-coaching vacancy.

The Miami Herald had called Gase to the Browns a "very, very real possibility" but evidently that's not the case. The Plain Dealer does report Gase has "at least" three other interviews lined up. That has been widely reported, but the specific teams have yet to emerge. Gase's agent must be doing good media work.

They were horrific in the 4 min drill to close out games. Le'veon always sealed the deal for them in close games.
