First, apparently they wanted someone that would challenge Rodgers intellectually. Second, LaFleur pitched that he would keep Pettine as DC (outright laughable) so that was that.

Not making excuses for him, but Mariota also was banged up most the season. (And I’m not convinced he’s a franchise QB)

Heard on the radio that the Packers intend to keep Mike Pettine and his defensive staff. They wanna do the Rams thing and have LeFleur/Pettine be the new McVay/Phillips. I don't buy it, but good luck to em.

Should be a bidding war with teams trying to trade up. He’s the clear cut top QB in the class.

Yep. Probably comes down to NYG and Jacksonville.

I think the big question too is Joe Flacco.. he could go to either team and be the guy.
