I recently watched that NFCCG on YouTube. It's insane how badly the officiating was, intentionally or otherwise, with regard to how the Saints players were leveling Favre. Some of those hits seemed worthy of ejections.

I love Foles but I do wonder how much a product of the system he really is. He’ll definitely be a decent, competent QB wherever he goes (at the very least), but I wouldn’t expect him to do what he’s been able to these last couple of seasons.

There are articles comparing the blown call in the nfc game to the tuck rule game. I question the intelligence of these writers. One was correctly calling the dumbest rule in league history. The other was missing two blatant infractions clearly defined in the rule book as infractions.

This is why sports journalists, real journalists not shock writers, need to start being required to name sources. If you can’t name a source, then you can’t run with the story.
