Loser Hue's response to Haslam and Dorsey after being fired was "Get the F--- out of my office!"

Nah, how bout you attach some cinder blocks to your ankles and you jump into the lake!

Idiot Haslam:

Report: Browns execs wanted Sean McDermott, Haslam hired Hue Jackson

With this and all the acquired draft picks over last few years, Sashi Brown is actually a pretty smart guy.. overshadowed by a fellow con-man that should be forced to sell the team. He's an attorney now and not in the league, but I think a team should scoop him up even as an assistant GM.

That ESPN piece about the Browns is a good read.

Then the no-catch, catch, no-catch, catch. Ball clearly hit the ground, but not called. Lastly the replay review of the ball hitting the pats player or not? Refs said it did. They needed overwhelming evidence to overturn that call & there was no camera angle doing that. Well that doesn't matter, it's the pats so lets just go with them. Karma is heavy in the SB. First the heavily favored Rams lost to the young pats team in 00-01. All these years later, it's reversed. Let's have it done & over with. The whole world (minus New England, which I'm unlucky enough to have been born & brought up in) is sick of the pats. If what I think is happening is going to happen, the Rams will win a miracle nailbiter & the pats dynasty will be over. The NFL wants ratings, and they want big markets, but they also don't want to have people turning off their biggest game because of pats-view overkill.

2012 season - The pats dynasty is over!
2013 season - Ok this time the pats dynasty is over!!
2014 season - Seriously the pats dynasty is over!!!
2015 season - Ok Tom for real retire because the dynasty is over!!!!
2016 season - I thought I said the dynasty is over!!!!!
2017 season - Stop ignoring me because I said the dynasty is over!!!!!!
2018 season -

So now Congress wants the Commish to testify before a committee about the non-call.
Congressman Cedric Richardson D-La, is leading the charge.
That’s brilliant. Don’t these guys have more pressing matters like getting the actual Federal Government back on track so furloughed employees can bring normalcy back into their lives?
What a joke. How about they bring Drew Brees before a Congressional Committee to testify about throwing the INT in OT?

Man, it never ceases to amaze me how utterly moronic the City of Atlanta Planning Committee is. Obviously the Super Bowl is here and that's gonna bring a sh*t ton of fans, press folks, production companies and all their people, trucks, gear, etc. and some additional attractions, I get that. But then they double down on their stupidity to just further ratchet up the total gridlock and lock down of a smallish downtown area. I mean we have a concert at State Farm Arena Friday night (I think) and the Foo Fighters show late Saturday night, but now I heard there's a Winter Beer Festival RIGHT where the Foo Fighters' pop-up venue is being constructed. The whole city is gonna be fvcked that entire weekend.

End of rant.

Dan Snyder should be Exhibit A for owners who like to meddle out of some misguided notion that they know what’s best for their team. Just hire the right people, sit back like Scrooge McDuck, and count your money as it rolls in.

That's what I'm talking about!

No wonder extraterrestrial life is staying away: We can't be so bothered to shelter and feed our homeless, but give us a missed PI in a football game and watch us shine!

I agree completely, Kraft is Exhibit B for owners who take that back seat and hire a guy that knows what he is doing. He thankfully learned after the Parcells mess and the shopping for grocery's comment.

Only time it worked long term was Al Davis because he was a coach and scout before owning the team. Shit he was our head defensive coordinator as the OWNER for thirty years until his death. But even then the game eventually passed him by and his decisions became pure crap.

Snyder is just awful. At least Jerry had a great decade.

If anyone here was wondering as to why I refer to Haslam as "Hee Haw", the answers are all in that article. He just needs to stay out of Dorsey's way and cut the checks. I want to believe he's learned something along the way here.

I did think it was telling that he and Dee were both sitting in the front row during Freddie Kitchens' press conference as opposed to sitting at the announcement table. The table was just Buddy Boy and Freddie.

As to the part I've highlighted in bold, I completely agree. Once the Pilot/Flying J thing hit the fan, he should've been forced to sell, or better yet, the NFL should've vetted him a hell of a lot better, but his billions were too much for them to pass up. I've always thought he was in on the scam the whole time which has made it impossible to embrace him as 'the owner of the Browns' (hell, one of the sales directors was on tape laughing it up that "Jimmy loved it", referring to the scam).

Another gem from the story of the Browns fiasco was when they accidentally played pornography projected onto a huge wall for 20 minutes after googling 'Dawg Pound.'

Quote:
Marketing executives wanted employees to see how fans were engaging with the Browns on social media, so they projected the Browns feed onto a giant wall at the facility. It was like broadcasting talk radio over the entire building, and one day in particular, it was worse than that. One of the marketing staffers entered a search for #dp -- for Dawg Pound. The problem was, that hashtag carried a few different meanings, one of which triggered an array of porn to be broadcast onto a wall for the entire office to see for more than 20 minutes, until a tech employee killed the feed.

Everyone of a certain age knows of a teacher or student who got up in front of the class to give a presentation about the White House, but then... well, you know.

Nowadays putting porn on screen might be an accurate description of what's going on in the White House.

How on Earth did they allow it to go on for 20 mins?
