Browns coach Pat Shurmur ruled out Peyton Hillis (hamstring) for Week 12 at his Monday press conference.
It's the third straight Monday Hillis has been ruled out, suggesting he isn't close to a return. Sunday will be the sixth consecutive game he's missed, and seventh of the season. He remains worth holding onto if you have an available roster spot, but with Montario Hardesty (calf) nearing a return and Chris Ogbonnaya coming on the past two weeks, Hillis won't be coming back to a workhorse role.

The Texans worked out quarterbacks Jeff Garcia, Trent Edwards, Chase Clement, Brody Croyle, and Kellen Clemens today. With Matt Schaub out they currently only have rookie T.J. Yates behind Matt Leinart and they appear to be looking for a veteran backup.

VP of Player Personnel John Elway admitted in a Monday morning radio interview he still isn't sold on Tim Tebow as the Broncos' long-term answer at quarterback.
Asked if he was "any closer to feeling if you have your quarterback on this team," Elway hesitated before answering "no." It's likely an unpopular opinion amongst a large sect of Broncos fans, but Elway would be crazy to commit to Tebow long-term considering the glaring deficiencies that still exist in his game. Tebow's final six starts will be ongoing audition.

I just noticed the betting line is only Houston favored by 3 vs. Jacksonville. Guess everyone is expecting Leinart to be terrible.

As mean as it sounds, players againt the Broncos all need to take a knee in the end zone every time they score, just to see if they can get Tebow to stop doing it.

For us not to have Our Top Corner, and Top Wr In that game and basically all of the pittsburgh game im Pleased with our play. Wait till we get shipley and draft another CB in the draft which im pretty sure we will and Maybe a OL that can block for atleast 4 seconds GEEEEEZ!!!

He was bobbling the ball through the plane of the goal don't give me that it was a TD crap. It was a great catch yes but he never maintained full control, same play was also called not a TD later against Benett from the Bears so it was the correct call.

As a Lions fan I now feel my team has finally arrived, 2 Prime time games in 2 weeks for them, Monday Night this year as well, just its so nice as a fan to finally not be the gutter trash of the league. The Lions are getting a lot of talk and the fact that we may be labeled as a "Dirty" team actually gives them a nice identity.

This is actually the first time the Lions have appeared on Sunday Night Football since NBC started airing it in 2006. The Texans are now the only team that haven't appeared on NBC Sunday Night Football.

Why? He's allowed to drop to his knee and give thanks for his success. It always brings a smile to my face when I see athletes do things like this. It's refreshing to see players do acts like that instead of what we saw DeSean Jackson do last night.
