Is there any worse starting QB than Vince Young with as good of a starting record as he has? This career stiff is somehow 31-17 as a starter. This for a guy with 44 career TD's to 46 picks. You'd think at the very least a crappy QB who wins games would at least be a good leader, which Young also is not.

It's tough to say he's proven that much...... Put almost under-center in Green Bay's offense, and they will look good. They have a great O-Line and WR's who can flat out get open...... Plus their defense is great, so there isn't that much pressure to "must score" every possession.

yeah the Packers have a very good team

Matt Flynn is in the same situation as Matt Cassel was in, Cassel was on that very good Patriot team that went 16-0 the previous season

Orton to the Bears makes sense, but I wouldn't be surprised if a team with a worse record claims him. I've seen some speculation that the Redskins could claim him and see how he does in their offense, and a lot of people think the Chiefs, who aren't at all out of the division race, could try to get him as well. If multiple teams claim him the team with the worse record gets him so even if the Bears want him they might not get him.

Man I have no idea what to make of McFadden anymore, healthy the guy is a BEAST, but he hasent been able to stay healthy his entire career.. Bush has been amazing filling in.... I'm sure some team will throw tons of money at Bush next year...

I wonder exactly how much it would take for a team to acquire that #1 overall pick from Indy. We have to be talking at least Herschel Walker to the Vikings type of draft picks. Probably more. It would likely take a jaw-dropping number of picks for the Colts to trade away that one.

He was awful when he was a starter in TN. He won games with his legs, and like I said earlier in the year. Even though it's way too early to tell, watching Cam Newton reminds me of Vince Young when he came into the League.

Gabbert wasn't expected to even play a snap this year. He was forced into the Lions den as Garrard was supposed to mentor him his first year and also Gabbert didn't work out much with the team due to the lockout. I guess these days, young QB's have to learn the hard way

Most importantly though when you're a QB. Regardless, you have to be ready even if you're a 3rd stringer.

I'm still supporting Gabbert. He'll improve next year after we get a true WR core so I'm not going to criticize him as much as the League does right now despite the misread to throw to MJD the last play of the game.

Getting Bush wont cost you anything since he will be an unrestricted free agent

But your right the Colts can use a good RB, they have a good WR core, throw in a healthy Manning and you guys will be fine...
