It's only Week 2 so I'm not gonna overreact, but these slow starts are untenable. IIRC we were the highest-scoring Q1 team in our Super Bowl year; clearly we're not doing that at the moment. Guys are dropping like flies, we're having to beat deficits of our own making... ugh. Lots of stuff to clean up.

Birds 1-1. Onto Detroit.

You're right, and I dunno what it was. Initially it looked like ribs, then he left for concussion protocol, finally started to look like himself in Q4 but by then it was too late. Either he or Doug (or both) need to get past these early-game jitters and come out of the gate strong. And Wentz's habit of only passing to Ertz is getting really damn annoying. As a go-to target on third downs or critical game situations, fine. He's clutch and we need him. I get that Alshon and DeSean were out most/all the game (for reasons I still don't fully understand), but Wentz HAS to spread the ball around. It's ridiculous. This is a big reason why Foles was so successful. He didn't just lock in on one or two guys; he actually went through his damn progressions.

CBS didn't carry the Ravens game yesterday in the local market either. Some Dan Snyder/Redskins lockout agreement IIRC. My cousin is a Ravens fan and he was livid about it. Thankfully a beer (and a Ravens W) calmed him down lol

Things gonna get interesting this year. Significant injuries to both Big Ben and Brees could open the door for other teams...and it's only the end of Week 2.

After all of the exciting finishes yesterday, get ready for a HUGE letdown with this abysmal CLE/NYJ game tonight, WOOF. This just sucks, I honestly don't even wanna watch it.

If I don't go to a BWW, I may just have to get ST, I'm thinking that next Sunday's Ravens/Chiefs game will be a very enjoyable game.
