Who the hell thought Giants/Patriots would be a good primetime matchup? This isn't even one of those "well if it weren't for injuries, it would've been a good game" situations. These teams are barely playing the same sport.

You do realize they make the schedule like 9 months in advance, right? I mean, when will people quit complaining about the games and just be happy football's back on? Bad football >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> NO football

We wait from mid-February to September for football, we're all chomping at the bit for it to get here, it arrives, we're geeked out of our brains and then folks are whining by Week 4. This is why we can't have nice things.

Seriously though, in this age of parity, how many times have we seen teams that were supposed to be bad, actually be decent or even good and vice versa? We all know it's a crap shoot each and every year.

Even a casual fan could tell nine months ago that Giants/Patriots isn't worth a prime time slot.
