They might still win if they ride Harvin enough, it's not like the Falcons are unbeatable.

Normally I would chime in here about how the Vikes will dominate the Falcons. But like a dog that's been kicked too much, I will now cower in the corner until the end of the season. That is unless the Vikes get Tebow. Then it's Superbowl glory fo' sure!

I don't know why I keep thinking Peterson is going down, maybe because he's just not been as hyped as he was early in his career where he was on every sunday morning show, and all over NFL:L during the week.

Of course he's not as hyped, since their NFC Championship appearance 2009 season, the Vikings have won a total of 8 games and with 5 games left that total may stay the same.

The funny part is here the Vikings are still on TV a lot, not sure why, we're not in their broadcast area and they're 8-18 over the last two years.

look on the bright side, next year will be the 1st time in 3 or 4 seasons that u guys won't have a starting QB that's over 35 years old!!

Cowboys are 5-0 in games where Murray has 20+ touches, it's nice to see Garrett finally leaning on the run game late.

Today's game is pure survival for both the Bills and Jets today. Neither team can afford another loss at this point, on paper it looks like an easy Jets victory with all of our injuries. But I believe in my team, we have to find a way to get the win. Up until this point CJ Spiller has shown nothing to justify the high draft pick on him. Now is the time to deliver and prove the critics wrong.

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is expected to be suspended at least two games for shoving Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith's head, stomping on him and then not owning up to it in his post-game comments, league sources told ESPN.

The NFL has not determined exactly how long Suh will be suspended, but league officials believe two games will be the minimum. Sources say the league also could require Suh attend anger management courses.


Ndamukong Suh apologized and said he's learned his lesson. But if Suh truly understands that he finally obliterated the line between aggressive and dirty, we'll never see him approach it again, writes Kevin Seifert. Blog

The NFL once suspended former Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth five games for stomping on the head of then-Cowboys center Andre Gurode, but the feeling around the league is that Suh's most recent act, which resulted in him being ejected from Thursday's Thanksgiving game against the Packers, was not as egregious.

The league likely is to meet again Monday before NFL commissioner Roger Goodell comes to a final ruling by Tuesday. But with Suh having been fined at least three times for a total of $42,500 since the beginning of last year, and with fines not working as a deterrent, a suspension is the next step.

Suh makes $82,000 per game. If he's suspended two games, he would lose $164,000 in salary.

"My reaction on Thursday was unacceptable," the star defensive tackle said in a statement on his Facebook page Friday night. "I made a mistake, and have learned from it. I hope to direct the focus back to the task at hand -- by winning."

The statement appeared on Suh's page around the same time he was publically chastised by the Lions, one night after being ejected Thursday in a loss to Green Bay for stomping at an opposing player.

"The on-field conduct exhibited by Ndamukong Suh that led to his ejection from yesterday's game was unacceptable and failed to meet the high level of sportsmanship we expect from our players," the team said. "Ndamukong has made many positive contributions to the Lions on and off the field. We expect his behavior going forward to consistently reflect that high standard of professionalism."

If Suh is suspended early next week, he would have a chance to keep playing pending any appeal -- but that appeals process can be expedited. Detroit plays at New Orleans on Dec. 4.

The NFL moved the game to prime time, a reflection of the buzz surrounding the improved Lions this season. Led by young stars Suh, Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson, Detroit won its first five games, but the Lions have since lost four of six.

I'm glad the NFL is seeing the severity of his actions. This isn't the first time he has shown dirty tendencies. I would hope they also issue him a warning that future incidents would see a major suspension.

Cowboys tight end Jason Witten knocked Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Melissa Kellerman into the spotlight when he ran into her during Thursday's game against the Dolphins in Cowboys Stadium. To review the incident, check out the video here.

But did the Cowboys have anything to do with knocking her Twitter account off the internet? According to CNBC's Darren Rovell, they did. Rovell tweeted the following:

"Shame on the Cowboys for pulling cheerleader @MelissaRae off Twitter. Not allowing these girls to capitalize is criminal.

If Cowboys don't trust the cheerleaders to speak for themselves, why do they even interview them for the squad?"

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Kellerman had some fun with the incident while her Twitter account was still available to the public with these tweets:

"I'm not the best at Jason Witten trust falls "

and

"Not hurtin' today, like some of y'all thought I would be! Our TE isn't as tough as he looks... That or I'm WAY tougher than I look. "
