He's like .100 when trailing by halftime to a winning team. .500 road QB.

I'm glad that most of the media has moved on from calling him the GOAT, at least until the next time he throws a hail mary on the Lions.
What do you mean moved on? I don't recall anyone ever calling Rodgers the GOAT. Heck, I doubt many people outside of Wisconsin have called him a top 5 QB of all time.

I never really understood it. Maybe they're still hoping he becomes the first major NFL player to come out, but I doubt that happens before he retires from football.

Mahomes by far the best player, but 49ers are the best team in the league.

Is this what your post was about?

An arrest warrant has been issued for Antonio Brown by Hollywood, Florida, police on a felony charge of burglary and battery, ESPN has confirmed.

The charge relates to a Tuesday afternoon incident outside of Brown's home, in which a moving truck driver alleges that he was assaulted by both Brown and his trainer, Glenn Holt.

Holt was arrested on a felony burglary with battery charge on Tuesday. He posted a $20,000 bond on Wednesday and was released from Broward County Jail on Wednesday night.

Police told ESPN that they made several attempts to contact Brown to question him about the incident, but the free-agent wide receiver retreated into his home and ignored their requests to speak with him.

Brown pelted a rock at the truck driver before the alleged battery outside of his home Tuesday, according to court documents obtained by TMZ on Wednesday.

The documents show that Brown later forced his way into the driver's side of the main cabin and began to physically strike the driver after a disagreement over payment escalated. He was then restrained by his associates.

Brown, 31, remained in or near his home throughout the day Wednesday. Now police have a warrant to go into his home to arrest him if needed.

The court documents TMZ obtained state that the moving company was hired by Brown to deliver belongings the receiver had stored in California to his home in Hollywood, Florida.

Brown allegedly refused to pay the $4,000 fee, which initially led the driver to attempt to leave with the property in his truck, and that's when the driver said Brown threw the rock, denting and causing paint damage to the driver's side of the vehicle. The driver then called police to report the damage.

Later, the documents say, the moving company told the driver to drop off the goods because Brown agreed to pay the fee plus damages he caused. Upon arrival, however, Brown paid the $4,000 fee but refused to pay more.

Another argument ensued, and that's when, the driver claims, Brown assaulted him, and Holt attempted to grab his keys from the ignition to open the truck and get Brown's belongings, causing cuts and scratches on the driver.

Brown's home is located in a gated community in Hollywood. Multiple neighbors told ESPN that they are fed up with the antics coming from the home, including multiple police encounters this month.

This guy better have one last person who can talk sense into him. If Antonio forces SWAT to storm his house it's going to end terribly for him.

There’s only so much pie to go around.
The A-Rod opinion debate can go round-n-round forever. Canton will end the debate one way or another. At least for the logical thinking crowd.
Brady skews everything when it comes to titles. He's been to nine Super Bowls. Favre is 1-1. Warner is 1-1. Wilson is 1-1. Rodgers is 1-0. Brees is 1-0. Are they underachievers? Eli Manning is 2-0. Does that make him better?

Exactly.
Rodgers, Ben & Brees are first ballots. Eli might be now that he’s going to beat the rush. Assuming Wilson has a long career he should get in too.

Does it really skew it THAT much? I know 6 titles in two decades is legendary, but it doesn't seem all that much more damaging to other teams chances at a title than dynasties of past eras.

The Cowboys won 3 titles in 4 years in the 90's. The Niners won 4 Super Bowls in the 80's. In a nine year span between the mid-70's and mid-80's the Steelers and Raiders won 7 of 10 Super Bowls. There are almost always one or two teams hogging the Lombardi trophies at any period in the Super Bowl era.

The only real exceptions were the first six Super Bowls, won by five different teams, and 2006-2013 when the Patriots were in a title drought, leaving 7 different championship teams in 8 years.

Speaking on Rodgers specifically, I'd say the fact that he's never made it back to the Super Bowl is an under-achievement. He's one of the most talented QBs to ever play the game, he's usually in the playoffs, but there's always something or the other (coaching, bad onside kick, etc.) that costs him a shot at the big one. Is it always his fault? Not really, but you could say the same for any of those guys. Wilson's one play away from being 2-0 and costing Brady one of his rings. Ultimately I don't think anyone could've predicted after Rodgers' first Super Bowl that he'd never make it back there for the rest of the decade.

Football Rule Question re Touchdowns

For some defensive penalties, yards are awarded to the offense. If the ball was on the 3 yard line of the defender, and the defense caused a foul that would give the offense 5 yards, would that then give the offense a touchdown??

Probably not, but I just wasn't aware of the NFL general rule that covered that kind of situation.
