If Burrow is there at 3 Detroit takes him no question. If young is there at 3 Detroit takes him no Question, Tua is the oddity here, I dont see Detroit passing on a franchise QB when Stafford's heath is in question. Detroit can Cut Stafford next year and not have a huge cap hit or dead money hit which gives Tua 1 year to learn the system and recover fully from his injury.

Detroit will never win with Stafford in command. They need to move on and get the last out of him they can.

While I agree with you on this, they won't be drafting any QB this year since both Bob and Matt's jobs are on the line this year.

It baffles me how the three Florida teams have been largely average to below average for so long, short of a few upticks.
Just by being in a tax free state, not to mention a great locale, has to be an unfair advantage when luring high priced free agents. No matter what your salary, no state tax is like a 10-15% price hike. One would figure players would be flocking there and, at least, one of the teams would remain consistently good.
Granted Miami has had he bad luck of being in the same division as New England, but they should be able to lure enough talent to be wild card or even division threat. Ditto TB and Jax.
I guess the other owners just have to deal with the price differential until Florida, and the other 6 states, finally start charging state tax. Clearly Dallas/Seattle have had no problem, and it will be interesting to see how the Raiders adapt since Nevada doesn’t charge state tax.

Players and agents just care about the big number, even if a smaller number in a different state would mean they keep more of the money. It's the same kind of superficial posturing that ruins guys on social media.

Why? That wouldn’t be fair. Their legal person can just point to this as exhibit A and file a grievance if suspended more games.

What was the official ruling? If someone did this week 1 then it would've been a 15 game suspension.

Not defending Garrett, but Mason Rudolph most definitely should have been suspended for his part in the fight as well. Lest we forget that he tried to rip his helmet off and called MG a racial slur and pretty much got off Scott free.

Ah I'm pretty sure no one else stepped forward to support that claim and it was only brought fourth after Garrett knew he was getting suspended for possible a very long time. Please do not state a person is racist unless you have actual proof, a player making that claim with nothing to back it up is not what I would call proof!

there was no evidence whatsoever that Rudolph use a racial slur. No one on either team heard anything about it during the fight and in the immediate aftermath. In fact Garrett was apologetic about his actions in the immediate aftermath, didn't mention it then and ONLY mentioned it during his appeal. No one bought into that allegation then as it was obvious it was a desperation move on his party. I thought no one would be buying into it no but apparently...

What Mason did happens in every single NFL game without punishment. Myles on the other hand went ballistic, then tried to explain his explosion with a made up excuse to try and avoid punishment.

I think six games is about right for what Myles did. I had every expectation he would be back in 2020.

The NFL conducted an investigation and found zero proof of a racial slur being used. Which even makes Garrett look worse(if that’s even possible).
Mason Rudolph’s altercation leading fine of $50k was upheld. Now I’m not sure how much a third string QB makes, but that has to be a much higher percentage compared to other starters making higher salaries, who were fined. So I’m not sure how he “got off Scott free”.
