What do rings have to do with him being a first-ballot HOFer? He would've been one with or without that season.

I agree Wentz is better than Dak, but we can look at the tape for that. I really don't get why rings have to come into it. Not a dig at you, it's just a weird metric to use for comparing individuals in a very team-dependent sport.

I never said they did, but according to some here Peters doesn’t have a ring because he didn’t play in the SB.
I just said Wentz has a ring, but folks don’t want to admit that since he was injured, or want to place some asterisk on it. Yet if the same thing happened to their team, Lol, they would be saying exactly what I’m saying. Rings don’t go away. That is fact.
Wentz beat Dak last season, in a must win game. This is also fact.

New England going from Brady to Jameis Winston, if it happens, might be the biggest single-position downgrade in the history of professional sports.

Bill has a much better shot of winning another ring. Obviously coaching is far less dependent on age and physical abilities than quarterback is, so the window for Brady is much, much narrower.

Still, if NE decides to go in a Jameis or worse direction for QB next season, they might as well be Tanking for Trevor.

My guess for Brady was always LAC but now they're saying there's interest in Cam. The coaching staff wants someone more mobile and the owner wants to sell tickets.

Cam would be there longer-term than Brady, but for the next year or two I can guarantee Brady fills more seats than Cam.
