Twitter to me is the best social media by far. Especially if you're a sports fan.

That's what started me on it a few years back and then it spiraled into a shitshow for me between NFL football, joke accounts and political BS.

It doesn't confuse me, it's just straight up annoying, haha.

The guy was a rookie... give him protection, give him WR's that aren't always hurt, and he might be something. You can't give up on players that quick, especially rookies, when the team has invested into him (via 1st round draft pick). You don't turn around the next year and use another 1st rounder on another QB, rather than building around the current QB. Arizona did this, I know, and I still think it's stupid.

Today's mock draft resulted in a 2.5 minute delay/glitch for the Bengals. Thursday is gonna be epic to watch.

Thank you for giving both sides of that argument. If the QB in question is an upgrade (like Kyler Murray clearly was, and in my opinion Justin Herbert would be) then I say go for it.

And protection? Outside of Dallas the Giants have the best O-Line in that division. Their protecting of him isn’t what made him throw twelve picks or fumble more than any QB not named Carson Wentz.

The guy wasn’t elite at Duke against tough ACC competition, and he won’t be an elite pro QB ever.

Hell I’ll be the rare Giants fan who’s honest enough to say we’ve not had an elite QB in my lifetime (which goes back to Simms and Hostetler). We’ve passed on numerous ones, because we had Eli, and even the year we traded for Eli we could’ve had a better QB (Take your pick of Ben or Rivers).

To me the worst decision they’ve ever made at QB (and yes I thought this at the time as I’m a Michigan fan) was wasting a fifth round pick in 2000 on some bum named Ralph Brown that played CB at Nebraska instead of using that pick on some guy named Brady to back up Kerry Collins.

You need to be patient with young QB’s. Give the kid time to develop.

Funny...... I don't remember Rivers or Big Ben having 2 super bowl rings.

I remember the stories being leaked out about him leading up to the draft. Looks like they might have been true.

So Ben didn’t win in 2005 and 2008? And be honest (like I am) the Giants defense, and two lucky catches are why my team won those Super Bowls.

I could give him a decade, and he’ll still be garbage. I don’t recall anyone defending Johnny Manziel (nor should they have) the way some of you are defending Daniel Jones. Or for a more recent example how about that loser in Chicago? After all he’s still young too. Oh wait he got drafted ahead of Watson and Mahomes after (just like Jones) being a less than stellar QB in the ACC.

Huh go figure that Jones and Trubisky would have that in common, and both were head scratching picks. Yeah that’s a great reason for optimism.

I would urge you to show caution with giving up on Jones after one season where he had his ups and downs. I would never pretend to know more about your team than you do, but from an outsiders perspective, Jones definitely showed some positive signs. Build around him, and let him develop. As for Trubisky, he definitely struggled last year, but Chicago didn’t do him many favors either with their lack of adding talent around him on offense. Hopefully for their sake he can rebound this season.

For some reason I just noticed you’re a Bills fan. Which I’ll say of the 3 NY QBs your team has the one I’d most want. Heck even with him having had mono last year I’d rather have Sam Darnold than Jones too.

Your points on the Bears are on the money, but neither one of us can really say if upgrading the offense will help Trubisky since the talk is Foles might be their starter.

Thanks, man. I’m very excited about my Bills.

I’m just a big believer in not giving up on people. If you liked them enough to use a high pick on, you have to give them time to prove themself.

I was bummed out when they lost to Houston in the playoffs last year. My mom is a lifelong Bills fan, and I find them to be easy enough to get behind when they’re on. I think that Singletary kid at RB is gonna have a huge season (assuming we have one) for you guys this year.

Still not over it.
