Romo still has more play-off wins than Wentz.

And McNabb has way more than Romo.
Which would be a better comparison.

Take Super Bowl Champion Andy Reid all day over the bums we've had in Dallas since Bill Parcells.

Jury out on Big Mike.

Andy Reid, was borderline HoF before last season, now he’s a lock.
Oh boy, here come the HC disclaimers!
Keep trying to tell you, the meddlesome owner stepping all over the HC will never work in today’s NFL. But hey this Philly fan hopes Jerruh is around for another 25 years of largely mediocre football.

Reid was already a Hall of Famer, the only doubt was whether he'd be First Ballot.

Now there's no doubt.

That would be great, but I’m guessing it won’t happen. HCs, probably, have had the most difficult time gain entry. How many are there? Under 25?
The only coach I could see going first ballot is BB.

Ok, so I have had a couple days to digest the 49ers draft and I like what Lynch and Shanahan accomplished.

- Drafting Kinlaw at 14 will help replace the loss of Buckner as an Interior Defensemen. Robert Saleh's defensive scheme is dependent upon pressure from the front 4.
- Aiyuk wasn't as highly regarded as Lamb, Jeudy, etc. but the guy has speed and is a threat when he gets the ball in his hands, the exact type of WR Shanahan loves.
- The biggest move may have been getting Trent Williams in a trade with Washington, Joe Staley announced his retirement, so being able to replace him with Williams was huge. Also, Williams is familiar with Shanahan and his system.
- McKivitz, Woerner, and Jennings all have potential but we will see how they perform at the NFL level.

It was an interesting Draft for sure, I think the Cowboys, Browns, Broncos, and Cardinals had very strong drafts.

Quote:
CeeDee Lamb (1.17, Cowboys): Available targets reflect vacant opportunity for every team in terms of their 2019 targets minus those by players still on their roster in 2020. Only the Falcons (261) have more available targets than the Cowboys (190). Lamb might not have a clear path to No. 1, or even No. 2, WR duties, but the absence of both Randall Cobb (83 targets in 2019) and Jason Witten (83) opens up a fairly-major year-one role anyway. A number of analysts and teams alike considered Lamb the draft's top WR, and he possesses the ability to thrive in both the slot as well as out wide. The Cowboys became one of just 11 offenses since 1970 to average at least 6.5 yards per play last season – they look even better on paper ahead of 2020. Lamb is my rookie WR3 thanks to his high-end talent and projected solid, not great, role in the passing game.

Lol, and they played a bunch of woeful pass defenses, a few that were very bad defenses overall. But why let facts get in the way.

It's hard to see Ruggs as a traditional WR1 for us but I think he's going to be a dangerous piece. He ran the most varied # of routes out of all of the college receivers drafted. I just hope Carr doesn't underthrow him We just don't have an offense where people go long.

Carr throws very short passes/slants. It's guys like Darren Waller who turn them into huge gains.

If we didn't already have deep threat tandem Gallup and Cooper, Ruggs would actually be the one I would want. His playstyle is a fantastic complement to theirs and will open the middle of the field for Dak. The best part is it will make life easier for Pollard and Zeke because now more than ever, you can't key on the run or the pass. So it's only complete defenses that can take away the run with their front 7 and somehow also blanket the receivers downfield while keeping Dak from ripping off long runs that will be effective against us.

Carson Wentz made NFL history by becoming the first QB to throw for over 4k yards and not have a WR over 500yds. Such an epic feat with WR4/5/6. To include beating Dallas in a win-or-go home game to win the division.
Now with all these super fast WRs drafted, in addition to a healthy D-Jax and Goodwin, Alshon is playing for the last big contract of his career so he could go off. Philly arguably has the best TE tandem in the league and Miles Sanders ready to improve on his league leading yards from scrimmage by a rookie from last season. Then the ultimate x-factor: Jalen Hurts! As if opposing DC’s weren’t losing enough sleep game planning for this potentially devastating offense.
As always cautiously optimistic. Never know what can happen.

Offense was sooooo last decade.

Offensive coordinators are already losing sleep thinking about a front seven consisting of:

Bosa-Kinlaw-Armstead-Ford
Alexander- Warner-Greenlaw

Defense is where it is at in 2020

Defense can only do so much against a generational QB like Patrick Mahomes.

Every team looks good on paper. I will wait to see how it plays out.

Excited for Detroit's selections. Hope the injury bugs stay away and they shine to their potential. Okudah should be an instant impact.

Big question still looms around the success of Matt Patricia. This is essentially all on him right now.

Why do you have to bring up things from the past?

That wound is still fresh, man.

I get to live with 13 years of Jason Garrett in Dallas for the rest of my life. That pain never goes away completely.

That he will be sabotaging the G-Strings' offense this year makes it a little better.

It will be interesting to see what McCarthy does with this team, Dallas definitely has the talent.
