That was one of the biggest questions going into last season. Can Rodgers and LeFleur coexist? It appears they can't.

Probably surgery pics of his broken leg. He apparently had 17 surgeries to repair it and at one point was close to losing his leg altogether.

I will always remember Alex Smith as the man who went before A-Rod and didn't have half the career he did.

Rodgers has definitely had the better career but at the rate he's going, he'll be remembered for a lot of wasted potential as well.

yeah some real valid reasons for that that we have discussed here numerous times but Rodgers is the one non-Cowboys player you've always had a fixation with

exactly and some of it will fall on Green Bay management and coaching for what was always seen as a failure on their part to surround him with high caliber talent but he is not blameless and there were years that the lack of talent on the roster wasn't a legit reason

Always respected Alex Smith for the way he handled getting benched for Kaepernick back in his 49ers days. Was such a professional about it.

They did him dirty in this year's draft, they know he needs more receivers and they drafted his heir, a RB2 and a TE1. Rude.

Whenever I see the name Matt LeFleur I think of Peter LeFleur from the movie Dodgeball and it makes me laugh. Then I think of the Cheesers draft this year and it makes me laugh more. Good times. Patches O’Houlihan would be proud.

thinking about the future of the franchise, which is one of the most storied in league history and successful before Rodgers was drafted, is not doing him dirty. Dude is 36 and on the downside of his career, age wise and maybe not necessarily skill wise. Its not like Love is projected to start this season.
And an upgrade at the position would've been nice but he didn't necessarily need WR's, just more offensive weapons, which he got.

It's one way to dominate the weekend. The Thursday and Monday schedules wouldn't be affected, but the NFL could opt for a couple island games on Saturdays if the college season doesn't happen due to COVID-19. The NFL is expected to release its schedule May 9, and there will be built-in flexibility to move some games to Saturdays depending on what the NCAA decides. The NFL could conceivably have a triple-header of sorts on Saturdays like it does during the playoffs with games at 1 PM ET, 4:30 PM ET, and 8 PM ET.

Didn't Smith have six different offensive coordinators in six seasons? That couldn't have helped.

Let’s just assume the country is still widely shut down by August/September. I don’t think it will be, but nothing is off the table at this point. If the NFL is the only pro sport going on has there been any talk about player safety in terms of contracting the virus? One would think it could only take a few cases to spread like wildfire through players, team staff, stadium staff, tv staff, etc. Seems like a massive gamble barring a big downward trend in case/mortality rate. Absolute worst case scenario: what if someone dies? Can they sue the league? Is the NFL making anyone affiliated with games sign some sort of waiver? What about the league taking action against someone that didn’t disclose they had symptoms? Is that a violation of privacy.
Need that lawyer, Florio, to cover all the legal angles going forward.

Florio? All he’ll do is throw some kerosene on any type of rumor surrounding it.

Probably, but he does do a good job of detailing the legal aspect.
