And we play the Saints on Christmas. Ho, ho, ho and a bottle of Odin's finest mead, Santa gives us a win, guaranteed.🎅

“We will be prepared to make adjustments as necessary," Goodell said. "As we have during this offseason in safely and efficiently conducting key activities such as free agency, the virtual offseason program and the 2020 NFL Draft.” The league built in one schedule escape hatch by making sure every team's Week 2 opponent had the same bye week. More drastic measures like scheduling all inter-conference games for Weeks 1-4 were not taken, however.

Feels good anytime u go from the hardest schedule to anything else. No excuses this year. No London/Mexico game. Only two 10am East Coast games. Only 1 cold weather game.

4 primetime national TV games in Vegas!

Would be a good way to cross Nashville off my bucket list.

this is good news of course but I am really trying not to get my hopes up. seems really ambitious but I do think it was good that the league did this, folks need a light at the end of the tunnel, some good news and sports, a possible return to normalcy can help

Philip Rivers named head football coach at St. Michael Catholic High School in Alabama upon his retirement, whenever that may be.

Id still be beyond shocked if they get a full season in or start on time.

for real. there has been no science or research to speak of. no increase in availability of ppe. and there are lots of mouthbreathers who refuse to take any sort of precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.

so anyone, please enlighten me....

how are we magically going to be ready to go to a football game?

all this talk of normalcy.... well, compared to the majority of the globe, there is an effort to actually try and do something. not just hope to wish it away with positive thinking. which basically might as well be what they are doing, because that’s the only way less effort could be put into it.

maybe if you had a policy of everyone wearing gloves and at least a cloth face mask to the event, i could see some people going to games. but people don’t even want to do that to go shopping without acting like it is the worst oppression on the history of the world. and we haven’t even really go to the point where we are seeing anything close to normal crowds for day to day activities.

I think its the assumption there wont be fans but they will play the games.

Reasoning is by september testing will be very widely available.

They say look at all the changes weve seen in 2 mnths - should be alot more in 4 mnths.

I have my doubts but that seems to be the thinking.

Please, most people are still going shopping, for non-essential goods too and without practicing social distancing. I do think most people won't justify the cost of going to a major sporting event coupled with the flight risk.

Me: It’s very important to maintain social distancing

Me during Bills game: Chest bumping and hugging all the Bills fans around me

Sports have a passion within me that I cannot control.
