As a Niner fan I like Mostert and respect what he did but the Niners are a RB by committee team, everyone has stepped up and performed when needed. If they can get something of value for him, make a deal otherwise McKinnon is finally supposed to be back and Tevin Coleman and Jeff Wilson are still on the roster.
Imagine if Frank Gore was just starting his career with this Shanahan/Lynch team. They wouldn't need all of these running backs lol.

yes. every time should have a quarterback who overthrows balls and has a winston-esque ability to not turn the ball over. if only every qb could have multiple turnovers a game.

why worry about accuracy when you could focus on potential. i mean, why worry about skill when you can just hope for dumb luck and the other team to miss four field goals are have their main defensive player leave the game early while another kicker missed field goals and extra points?

With the receivers Allen's gonna have this season, it's basically make-or-break for him.

Playoffs should be the baseline, especially with Brady now out of the division. As good as Cam can be, I still dunno what to really expect from NE.

As long as Belichick is there, they are going to be a threat. The defense alone is worth 6 or 7 wins, and Cam wants to prove everyone wrong that is saying he is washed up. We’re going to have to play our best ball on a consistent basis to win the division.

No thanks. I don’t need athletes to shed light on anything except gameplay.
There are other, much more informed people, that....so I choose...can have light shed on the current climate.
Where is that Lavar Ball guy with his “stay in your lane” commentary now? Never really thought much of that guy, but he might have been on to something.
Way too many cooks in the kitchen right now. Only adding to the many messages(some right, some not so much) being sent out every minute.

Well the MLS started up yesterday and has played two games without issues. Thinking that's a good sign for the NFL. Will be curious to see how the MLB goes when it starts up at the end of this month.

The main difference is that, MLS is not traveling yet. They are doing a tournament in Florida. Unless something has changed, NFL/MLB are not isolating in one area but will be traveling to the different stadiums.

This does raise the risks because you are now traveling to different potential hot spots.

We will see how bad MLB gets it once they start the season with the traveling they do.

Florida is one of the biggest hot spots in the country. Guess we will see how well these bubbles work.
You can place NASA level layers of safety down in these “bubbles”, but it’s what players, staff and facility personnel do on their free time that wins or loses here. Only takes one dummy to venture out to a club or party to be at much higher risk, and then bring that back to team.
Florida ICU’s are already starting to get overrun.

There are always risks involved. I just feel having the players isolated in one area is better than carrying covid across state lines.

The potential for exposure exponentially goes up as you are not only carrying the team but the staff which is potentially 100 people across state lines each week.

I remain hopeful we have a season, but it’s going to be very unique and different from any season we’ve had from pretty much every standpoint.

With the pandemic and all the unrest I’m hoping there is no season. Let the pandemic, hopefully, run it’s course and give the sports world a year off for everyone to get all their frustrations out on social media. Because that always helps.

Further reiteration of your guys point - social media isn't for everyone
These guys are so dumb they just can't help themselves even when others get in trouble for shooting off a day before them. Agents/managers need to clamp down and start working these things into contracts, surprised teams haven't started doing that already considering the current climate

This is the same Malik Jackson that wouldn't accept Drew Brees's apology...… ironic.

Yet you want them to "inspire you".

I'm not a "shut up and dribble" guy, but clearly some players are more adept at navigating social media than others. And that number seems to be small, unfortunately.

Finally Mike Florio took a break from Washington bashing to post a legit good article:

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...lic-resources/

How are more people not outraged that billion dollar businesses get to cut to the front of the line? Where are all the athletes blasting this? Where is all the education. Where is Malcom Jenkins sitting all the owners of Pro sports down and educating them like he did Drew Brees?

Isn’t that interesting how some things get a pass depending on your point of view.
Lol, we will always live in a double standard society.

(I realize sarcasm doesn't translate well sometimes but I mean reading the history of the thread may provide some context)
