If you had Wentz in the Philly/Dallas playoff game last season you would’ve won.

Not to mention Wentz has a ring, was the MVP of 2017(until popularity politics), locked up #1 seed with two torn ligaments, and is now on a pretty team friendly contract.
Rayne Dakota has never been hurt but has come up short in big games against good defenses, with arguably a much better supporting cast than Wentz has, and now is going to break the Dallas bank as he’s not giving any team friendly deals to Jerruh.
I just don’t see Rayne Dakota being the tide that raises all boats, like Wentz has already proven to be. Rayne Dakota needs to be surrounded by studs, and even then the returns are pedestrian at best.

The Buccaneers might score 50 ppg this season, I'm less worried about him than I am about what Belichick has done without a QB1.

I know it's hyperbole but they have one of the most talented offenses in the league right now. The only thing holding them back last year was having a turn-over machine at QB.

Well Mike McCarthy and Bill Belichick proved why you do it. Even if you think you're set at QB, it's always good to have more than 1 for depth and/or trade collateral.

Cowboys took Dak cause Romo was starting to break down. May pay off for Eagles in the same way.

Wentz has always gotten injured on the run. Obviously a big part of that is the inconsistency at WR. Most likely it will be that way again this year. Jeffery will start the season(if there is one) on the Pup list with the Lisfranc injury. Jackson is made of glass. Goodwin opted out, even if made the roster. So that leaves Ward, JJAW, and some rookies.

ESPN might want to update that newscast then. They're listing 3 players that 'Opted out of the season' every news break. Another was a Patriot WR...cant remember the 3rd one.
