I thought more would opt out. Not a lot of skill position players or big stars opted out.

They might have confidence in the protocols during camp, let's see when the games begin and they have to travel.

Theres still some clause where they can opt out if a condition (them/the league) changes whatever that means.

Just look at the 2 bets i posted - i played both sides so no matter who won i collected the bonus which was a net profit.

You make it sound like the days of betting with a bookie - its totally diff now.
"Most" people dont have discipline & want to win $100,000.+

Depending on how your contract is worked, opting out might not be worth a year off. It was good for a lot of bubble guys. Or as Florio pointed out, might be an uptick of retirement papers filed this year and an uptick of un-retiring papers filed next year.
All it takes is one to get seriously ill, to start the mass exodus.

As a lawyer he knows the finer details about contracts and is pretty spot on, in that department. So he’s 100% correct.
Whether it actually happens remains to be seen. So far it’s the first week of August and the league is just applying duct tape everywhere. Just a mess, that can get a whole lot uglier.

There’s a lot of speculation that the NFL will be moving some games to Saturday’s this season with college football looking at moving to spring.

I understand the pending name change for the Redskins but can we keep calling them that until they land on a new name? Seeing "Washington Football Team" in print is just dumb.
