Taysom Hill and the Saints agree on a four-year, $140 million extension. However, what's actually happening is that he got a one-year, $12.159 million restructured contract with four voidable years to spread out a $9.6 million signing bonus. It also frees up $7.5 million in cap space for this season.

So what should they do, not use the 60+ million of space and have a low talent roster again like last season?

These are 4 year for the most part looking front loaded contracts. They had no TE and signed imo the best one available, they needed a pass rushing LB that can deal with the run and signed one of the best available, also needed a nose tackle and picked one up. I dont have any problems with what thye have done today, not to mention once again the most insane contract of the day is Thuney at 80 million.
