It's official. I'm skipping the 2021 season. I've watched the Bears suck a many seasons, but to do it like this? Suck on purpose? Bears already had a loser QB on the team....now they have two?

Could be waiting to trade up on draft night to take a QB, and keep Dalton as a backup/mentor. Or use Dalton as part of a package to send to Houston for Watson. Don't lose hope lol

Moviefan....can you give me the story on John Brown? Raiders just signed him. I remember he was decent a few years ago.

He was a good player for us the last two years. Last season he struggled to stay on the field though. Definitely a good locker room guy.

I hope there is an out built into that contract after 2 or 3 years. At his age, that is a long contract.

Other than that flare-up in Washington that led to him sitting out a year and then getting dealt, Williams has been a solid player and locker room guy. And in all honesty, the stunt he pulled to get out of Washington.... who could blame him lol

The contract is ridiculous but Shanahan always liked him from days as the OC here, and I dunno how many guys of his caliber there are at that position. Apparently KC and someone else were in the mix, but KC signed Thuney so Williams stayed in SF.

Welp, even if Williams had other options, he stayed in SF and with that they have locked in their top FA targets, which is nice. My only concerns were not getting help at the WR position and letting some guys go elsewhere but I am assuming Lynch and Shanahan probably have plans for the draft since they have seven picks and the last two WR they have drafted have been solid so far
