There was no pressing need to move him but oh well, it is what it is and we got a pretty nice return! I hope he goes off with Robby in CAR. Wilson with #2 it seems then.

Both fanbases seem happy with the trade. I'm good with giving up a 2nd rounder for a flier with his potential.

We can still take a look at QB with 8 as well...but it's not a priority

That’s a pretty good return for Darnold. Things probably would have been a lot different for him in New York without Gase.

I'm willing to bet that Sam is going to have a career year with the Panthers this season. Those weapons could help him turn his career around and a reliable running game will help him out immensely.

He's going to miss Curtis Samuel, the best passing games have 3 good receivers. Although I guess you could argue fantasy cheat code CMAC is pretty much a third to go with DJ Moore and Robby Anderson.

Well I mean, he already has a pretty good rapport with one of the WRs there.

I'm happy for him getting a second chance, he got the rawest of deals and as usual the NYJ franchise ruined him like we have to tons of players. It appears as though everybody made out pretty well in the deal. That being said, I'll be putting money on CAR in the Sam Darnold revenge game this season, he's gonna drop 300+ yards and 3 TDs on us.

Wow they put a stat up for the Jets this morning on espn that listed out their last 8 years of first round picks. All of them have either been traded away or are out of the league entirely.

Yep and we can pretty much thank Mike Maccagnan for most of that mess.

That being said, we have 21 picks in the next two drafts with 7 of them falling in the first two rounds...in Joey D we trust.
